Are there any legitimate ways to make a website for free? Could you tell me how? I'd greatly appreciate it!

I want an actual website though. Can I make one free?

If you are looking for free stuff then use blogger, squidoo or hubpages to create free blogs but you are not the owner and your blog may get deleted due to their any policy violation, that's the risk in using free blogs. Rest you can 1 page hosting from godaddy or dynadot but it will be only 1 page homepage hosting (Can't remember exactly Godaddy offers free hosting with their ads).

Thanks

Dot tk seems to be free but have not heard good things about it in the forum. But, it is a website, and free.

Hosted: blogger.com, wordpress.com. You own host: 000webhosting and you get free server space and a subdomain for free, install the wordpress zip file, set a table on the free mysql that comes with it and in 10 minutes you have a brand new site with domain and all the themes you can possibly need at the touch of a button. And YES it really works IRL, it's not a vague theoretical possibility...

Dude, Search in Google! You can even get the top 20 free hostings (not blogs or wordpress) listed in one site.

Thanks for the help! I'm thinking a blog is the way to go.

weebly, yola, webs will be an better option in this case. you can start as free and make pay and remove their link in footer once you started getting benefits form the website

I use x10hosting works real well for free hosting and if you can afford it you can get a domain from somewhere for .99 cents thats as free as it gets. I use x10 bc it has a cpanel not a make shift one like alot of the free hosting sites and they don't bother me with offers ever about their paid service through email.

You pay for quality, man. If you want shit for free, you gotta use free hosts like Blogger, Wordpress, etc., or you're gonna have to go with free webhosting which is a horrible choice over free blog hosting. Just my 2c though.

He Give me a PM i can hosting your site free.

And when it gets popular, I'm sure you'd be happy to let him take his site off your server, right? Y'know. 'Cause you're such a nice guy.

This, it is how I first started. Just using 000webhosting and installing wordpress manually through filezella. The domain doesn't look as good as a .com but it is a good way to get started. I don't think it is possible to install adsense or anything but you could use it to make clickbank sales

There are so many websites or tools are available in online market which create a new free website with your own desire domain. You can use weekly. One of the reasons why Weebly websites could "potentially" have wonderful and professional website designs is b/c they allow users to upload external website designs, in addition to their ready-made templates. All you need to do is have a little knowledge of how HTML and CSS works and you can almost customize everything in the layout of your Weebly site. There are also many 3rd party independent providers of templates for Weekly

There's a way to do it through Google. They cover the domain and hosting for the 1st year for free. Legitimate domain and hosting. Look up Get Your Business Online on google.

You've already got some good advice above!
If you have a domain name, it doesn't matter as to where you host it - Wordpress, Blogger, or a hundred other services will allow you to host your blog with them on your domain name for free. If you're looking to work without a domain name, however, there are some great places like Devhub.com, which create efficient websites - I like it better than Blogger. All the best :)
