Q: If these are profitable, why are you building them for others?
A: I have a specific income goal that I want to reach by March. I have been building these sites like a crazy woman but it looks like I'm still going to be a little short for my goal. At this point, with the deadline looming, it makes more sense for me to make less profit per site but be paid for them up front than to continue building them for myself. I haven't decided if I'll discontinue the service after I hit my goal or if I'll just take on less orders.
Q: Any other niches you won't do?
A: I won't do books, DVDs, and movies for the same reason that I won't do video games. I also won't do health supplements or other health products since they require way more research than lamps or kitchen tiles.
Q: Why should I buy a site if I can make it myself?
A: Why does anyone ever pay anyone for anything? Why do you buy pizza from the local pizza joint instead of making it yourself? Sometimes it's because you're lazy and sometimes it's because they make really good pizza. My expertise in in keyword research and sending people to Amazon. That's what I have to offer and I've been making a living from it for almost 3 years years. If you think you can do it better than me I won't stop you.
Q: What do you recommend for backlinking?
A: I recommend that people look up Scritty here on BHW and do what he says. He's giving the most comprehensive advice on off-page SEO and you can't go wrong by doing what he says.
Q: Can you help me with my Amazon site?
A: Maybe, but probably not. The people who have been asking this are sending me to e-commerce style Amazon sites. This is exactly the opposite of what I think makes up a good Amazon site. They are low on content and keep visitors on your site instead of sending them to Amazon. That's bad for SEO and bad for conversions. There's little I can do for sites like that.

I got a great question via PM: why are the sample sites so bare?
Answer: As far as it being bare, that's the whole point. When you go to the sample site what do you want to do? Read the content or click on the picture? That's what gets your Amazon affiliate cookie on their browser.
I went over this whole method in this thread. The service is for people who want to build that kind of site but need/want someone to build it for them.
