For managing your own network (which was your original main question) then Xmarkpro.

Creating your own bots is all well and good. But too often your 9-5 becomes "maintaining my bots". When for a one off price you get a AAA tool that does the job and is maintained regularly.
As for MS and some of the other suggestions, great ideas. Micorne is flakey (to say the least) MS is decent, Nuke is the best of the bunch but pricey over the long term.

If you just want to create a few hundred WEB2 sites (hopefully your not stupid enough to make a direct link structure just out of web20... are you?...if so I'll send you my "Hello Google - please come and see my obvious self promotional going link building - so you can slap me stupid" flag)... then Nuke, Demon, Magic submitter will be your best bets. Easily get 50-100 different high PR d0follow WEB20 sites out of any of them. Nuke and Demon are better at posting to them multiple times (which you say you want to do - and is best practice) Add your own sites by the thousand from several opne source platforms as well. Not as powerful as the hand coded sites in most cases, but good for variation and essp if you find some "on niche"

HINT: Wordpress.com delete over 1 million single page blogs a MONTH - for really no other reason than they have been single page for too long and therefore are considered either dead - or spam. They also delete them within hours if they have links to certain sites in them. Tumblr, Blog, Blogger, IO, LJ....they all have a similar policy these days, so your idea of multiple posts is an absolute MUST.

Nuke can actually manage both private websites and web 2.0 blog networks really easily. You might have to add some of the more popular web 2.0s (like Tumblr, Wordpress, Blogger, etc) by hand though. It'll be pricy though, but I think most of the options are (I remember reading about Articlewyz or something that can do it as well).

Yes - Google know exactly what a WEB20 site is. They attend the WEB20 conference each year (as do Yahoo, Bing, IBM and Microsoft to name a few)
The features that categorize a site are easily defined (and very well defined ) and O' Reilleys annual conference makes sure everyone knows what they are.

No natural backlinking landscape would be more than 50% WEB20 for direct links. IN rteality no long term backlink profile would likely have more than 20-30% of any one site type in it.
It's not that any site or platform or CMS is bad - it's just spamming the same platforms is bad.

25 Wiki links from hi PR wiki sites with a good ratio of OBL's to content = EXCELLENT Seo - if mixed in with say 30 WEB20, a few article sites, maybe a few long blog comments along the way etc.

No need to dobad linking either these days.
Google doesn't rank a site or a link based on the CMS or website platform it is on. It bases it on the quality, PR and authority of the site REGARDLESS of platform.
What it does look for these days (After July 2012 in particular) is a varied range of platforms linking to any particular site.
If you find a high PR Article or WIKI site with a lot of traffic a good ratio of content to OBL's then that is every bit as good as a WEB20 and really should be used for variation.

WIKI's and Article sites took a hammering in 2012 and 2011 respectively because of misuse of the open source platform scripts and the subsequent use of those badly thought out sites for spammers.

Those that survived the cull, have great SEO metrics (PR, authority and traffic) are indistinguishable in terms of SEO benefit to a WEB20 site with the same good metrics. There is no differemce what-so-ever

(Likewise a good forum link is a good forum link - a good log comment link is a good blog comment link)

There is no such thing as a bad link (outside of hate sites maybe)
But there is such a thing as a bad backlink structure or profile

I would like to but i am not selling seo services. So if i do that, i have to link to my own sites. This can be an obvious footprint. Furthermore, buying different hosts and hiding your name while registering to eliminate footprint adds complexity to management, extra costs and risk. Do you have any suggestions regarding this? Should i try to create my own private network for my own sites?

Yes, that is why i try to eliminate creating my own bots with zenno. I will use it when i have to.

I will start with MS.
I also heard good thinks about Sick (of course i need to buy an additional web2 package. But most of the packages are one time cost.). I will try that too.

I will start with 10-20 web2 sites. I will post 3-5 articles to each incrementally (like 1 post per week). When each blog has at least 3-5 articles and indexed, i will add a new article to them each month. %20-40 of articles will contain a link to my own sites and/or other websites. I will make linking as random as possible. I will keep updating these web2.0 sites for a long time. Is this safe enough for web2 sites layer?

For the money site, in addition to these web2 site links, i will use Q/A sites, forums, blog posts, manual blog comments, high-quality wikis and social bookmarks for the main web site.

For web2.0 site backlinks i will use these varied sources too. In addition to these, i will make another layer of web2 sites. But that layer will be much more random, will not last long (e.g. they will not contain more than 20 posts) and have lower quality content (still not scraped content!)

Some questions that come to my mind:

1. I will start with 10-20 web2 sites. But i plan to add new web2 sites (may be 5-10) each month. Is this a good idea?
2. When should i stop posting to a web2 site in the first layer? After 10 years (after posting hundreds of articles)?
3. I will keep backups of articles posted to a certain web2 site. But can these web2 sites really delete my site after hundreds of high quality articles? Note that i will use a very high quality content (readable and pretty interesting) for the first web2 layer.
4. Can this plan be enhanced?

Google "Blue Hat Demon" download it, and it has a formula for the number of links that are effective as of 28th November 2012.

NOTE- The formula is based on number of referring sites NOT the raw number of links
The formula is PER VIABLE URL not PER WEBSITE.

As usual my advice is primarily aimed at those looking to promote above average size sites or authority sites.
Micro sites have a totally different set of rules for now. These ideas are very general...

• Caveats are beware of too many "sitewide" links
• Ensure variation of all things "link based " NOT JUST ANCHOR TEXT, platform, content, link placement, date indexed etc.
• For authority sites the best linking is consistent linking.
• The best links have content for context.
• Post to your WEB2 sites, WIKI and article profiles often
• Interlink WITHIN individual sites within your tier one. (don't link them TOGETHER - that's no longer good practice) so (for example) link the 5th post you make on Tumblr to the 2nd.
• Inter profile interlinking is a feature of human made sites on third party platforms/hosting.
• Promote and link to all viable URL's on your own money site not just the landing page/root page.
• The more often you send good content to your tier one - the better it gets
• Even so, sometimes some f%^kers will delete one, so save the content you put on others sites so you can re-use it if you DO reuse content, add footnote "Previously published on xxxxxxx.yyyyyyy.com original document now hosted here"

@Scritty your formula says "to a maximum of 72" - in other words the resulting number should be capped at 72 links per tier 1? If that's not the case for my 20k pages sites I'd end up with a whooping 140k links on tier 1. If it is the case, 72 tier 1 links for my 20k pages sites is just weak. Ok, ok, I'm a particular case and not everybody makes 20k page sites in 3 days.

Fresh 100-page site example... results in 700. Too much to start with. If we cap at 72 is ok. However, if you have a site of 30+ pages and you start with 150 to 300 links you're really in no danger IMO as long as you get those links from decent (unflagged/unspammed) domains and you don't stop your link building abruptly. Still unreliable as a formula IMO (considering I understood it properly). As a catch-all rule for newbies to use as a guideline I guess it's a good one and safe. But I would say it misses more cases than it fits. So personally I don't like your formula, first because it is a formula second because it doesn't factor in all metrics that play a role and third because I don't find its results close to being accurate.

Most of the stuff in your Blue Hat Demon guide is very solid advice and I recommend everybody (particularly newbies) to read it several times and try to understand it. It is 100 times better as a beginner SEO guideline than reading crap off forums and SEO-wanna-be blogs. Same goes for Scritty's posts around BHW and his blog. While in most cases I don't agree 100% with him, he knows WTF he's talking about and I can respect his opinions even when I don't agree with them.

It's SEO Link Robot. Definitely like the distant little cousin of SENuke... wouldn't really recommend it over any of the other tools at all (I have the lifetime license so I'm not just making that up lol).

I've been with Articlewyz since the beginning and is is buggier than ever. Have you ever examined the posts it is making to your Web 2.0? I've seen completely messed up links (their end, not mine), duplicate images, titles, content and that is using their scraped content. It seems like it's still in beta.
