I have almost 13K subscribers, 6.3M total upload views, and currently 162 videos. I make videos on a constant basis and receive revenue from YouTube as well. What I want to ask is if I were to sell my account how much could I earn?

Not quite sure I understand the question...

Do you mean you want to sell your YouTube account complete with all the videos etc?

Correct. If I were to do that right now, how much would I earn? If at all that's possible.

It depends on the revenue.

Did just 1 video go viral? Or all videos have a lot of views?

How much are you earning (not asking you to answer it, just saying it depends on that as well)?
Are those subscribers , all real, all views are real as well?

Thanks

Luka

All videos have a decent amount of views. I am currently earning about $2,000 a month, however, I earned only about $300 a month during the beginning of 2012. All subscribers and views are real, however, some of the subscribers might be inactive.

If you sell a youtube partner channel you are essentially selling a business. A rule a lot of people have used for selling websites is to take the monthly profit and times it by ten.

I don't see why you couldn't use that here, after all if your channel is constantly making $2000 a month it should be worth a lot. So if you times that by ten $20,000 is the number you get.

Think about this in business terms. If I bought your channel, it would essentially make me back my investment in 10 months, which is not a very long time.

Depending on what niche it is in, I would contact business owners, and website owners in your niche, they are going to be the ones willing to spend that penny on a business.

Hope this helps

Yeah and also if he contacts companies that are related to his niche the price can actually be doubled, because he isn't only selling a $2000 earning revenue channel, but also 13000 potential clients. At least that's what I think.

If you were to sell your channel would the channel still be able to continue? For instance if you're a vlogger, gaming commentator or similar without you what will the new owner be able to post to continue the income?

Exactly! It will be worth much more if you sell it to the right people! Normal IMers like us wouldn't be as willing to spend a ton of money on this as much as a company in the niche would.

You gotta make sure you're selling to the right people

There is a difference between what it is worth and what somebody will pay for it. That 10 month figure is an industry standard but there is really no reasoning behind it other than that's what everyone says is a fair value and thus people decide that it is.

They claim you could get $20,000, I bet you'd struggle to get $10,000 unless your video niche is a valuable one.
