In a previous thread I asked out to the community to see what "outside the box" ideas they might have to make money through Twitter, and mainly just received reinforcing ideas that I had already read or learned about.
I'd like to use this thread to not only build on that concept, but also to share with you how I make money already!
Step 1: Decide which niche you want to go into.
Popular Niche Examples: News, Celebrities, Adult Entertainment, and "Parody Accounts"
Before I continue, Parody Accounts are a hit or miss, they are very difficult to start up, but if you post original high quality tweets, they can make you a lot of money. If you choose the easy route, and copy funny tweets from other popular accounts, you will most likely fail miserably.
Step 2: Buy followers from a trusted source that has a good track record of not having their accounts banned. This step is crucial because it is much easier to get new followers if you have 10-50k followers already. People tend to go with the notion that "Well, 50,000 other people like this account, let me check it out".
Step 3: Depending on your niche, this step is difficult for me to help you with, but you'll need to write out at least 10 quality tweets, or find 10 quality photos if you are in the Adult Entertainment niche.
This is something you'll need to do every day, and every tweet matters. Don't be lazy, make sure whatever you are posting to your Twitter is something you would enjoy reading or seeing if you didn't own the account and happened to see it retweeted to your timeline.
Step 4: Pick one of those tweets, and send it out. BOOM we have liftoff. This step is so simple, but it's your first impression on the Twitter community... Make sure it's AWESOME.. or don't post it. Wait until you have something worthy!
Step 5: This step is one that you may skip, but I suggest going to a site like "Pay4Tweet" that you can buy a retweet from an already successful account in your niche. It is inexpensive, and will give your account temporary Twitter fame. If your tweet is good, it could potentially be retweeted by many of their followers as well. The goal is to get followers, and not just followers, quality followers that enjoy what you tweet about.
Step 6: If you haven't already, I suggest making some retweet accounts. This can be done through Sublime Twitter Bot, or you can buy them off of someone trusted in the community. I suggest that they are all email verified, and that you search "#TFB #TeamFollowBack #AutoFollow" ETC, and follow people from that list. Later, once you have a niche established, I suggest that you use those accounts, and follow people that follow accounts like yours.
Step 7: Once you have the retweet accounts, download "Twitter: New World Order". You can search and find this on BHW. I only use it for retweeting, and it is amazing. It goes without saying, but use those accounts and retweet your tweets. People tend to retweet tweets when others like them as well, similar to the buying followers section above.
Step 8: This step is basically preference. If you want followers, you're probably going to have to follow people. If you are "forced" to follow people, you might as well follow people that will help you in the long run. I suggest ONLY following people that retweet tweets similar to yours. This is important because if they retweet tweets similar to yours, they will most likely like your tweets, and potentially retweet your tweets... Which will in turn give you more Twitter fame, and more followers.
Another helpful option is to YouLikeHits.com and using a fake account to gain points, and using the points to gain followers for your real account. There are a lot of bots to help you gain points. Most of these accounts are not real, but if you are desperate for followers, this can help a little. These are not quality followers, and most won't care what you are tweeting about.
Step 9: This step is where the money happens, but I can't stress enough the fact that you should NOT post ads until you have a large following of dedicated retweeters and people that interact with you. You will only lose followers, and you will probably make less than a dollar per tweet.
PPC [Pay Per Click]
Explanation of PPC: (Skip if you know what PPC is) This is where advertisers pay you from .02c-.10c per click on each link! Imagine if your Twitter account has 50,000 REAL followers and only 1% of them click your link.. That's 500 clicks and even at .02c you will make $10.00! Scale that up, and imagine a million followers, and 1% click it.. Now you have 10,000 clicks and at .02c each click you'd make $200.00. This is all hypothetical, and mainly to show you how easy the money is once you build dedicated followers. It's all about quality, and if you don't post quality tweets, you won't receive quality followers!
Examples of PPC sites I use:

The other option is http://www.MyLikes.com
I personally prefer ChaCha, but MyLikes has paid me out over $100.00... The issue is, I'm not sure if they shave clicks or not, because I've looked up links and the link info has been drastically different at times than what MyLikes reports to me.

If you are using Amazon, make sure whatever you are promoting is similar to your niche. Not something that is random and off the wall.
You can use other affiliate programs, but I cannot guarantee whether they will get you banned or not.
https://virurl.com : Supposedly, you can retweet links and you get paid for who it reaches and how much it spreads. I am NOT familiar with this program, but I've seen a few people talk about it, and it was recommended to me.
http://pay4tweet.com : In the step above, I recommended that you go to this site and buy a shoutout or retweet, but if you have a large following, you can use this site to sell tweets of your own! The best part is, you can charge your own rate. I've seen them range from $1.00-5,000.00 per tweet.
