If I invested $1,000 into a GPT site using ShiftCode and using a custom design, do you think I would make at least a decent income?

I already have several ideas for advertising and getting the name out there.

If you have a solid marketing strategy, you will probably be able to have some success. I currently own a large GPT network that brings in virtually nothing due to other projects taking priority. If I had time to market, I'm confident I would make decent profit from the sites.

Such sites do actually grow but I'd advice against it as you could do much better in other projects and the profits would be higher. $1000 can make you wonders in affiliate marketing while it won't last much if you're going to customize and advertise a brand new site.

I was involved heavily in GPT's.
From doing offers in 07 to getting thousands of refs in 08-10 to moderating GPT's and owning a couple in the past couple of years.
I don't believe they're really work the time. As long as you're not a fool, you'll definitely make the money invested back and then some, but I don't think its work the time just to make $1k a month.
I do know a few guys making some decent money from their GPT's though. One guy is making $150-$250 from his GPT.

With respect you are new in here which by the way is just fine and a warm welcome to BHW...

But this is what I would do as an old hand on the web, keep the money tinder dry in my pocket...

Read up all I can here on BHW for say a couple of months then invest in 2 or 3 money making methods...

That way there is a good chance 1 or even 2 methods will kick in and start making you bank $$$$$$$$$$$

Why coz I like value for money - I work to make money it's that basic!
