Far Cry 3...My God...

I'm not a big video game guy. I maybe play a few hours of Forza a week but thats it. I just bought Far Cry 3 on Saturday and guys, this is the best game ever. Its is so amazing. It's like a playable movie. The voice acting is incredible, the story itself is captivating, and the graphics (minus the shitty FPS drops on consoles) are godlike. I dont know why im so in love with it, maybe its just the vastness of the map, but it feels like each person you meet is a real person. Everyone has a unique personality. All the cutscenes are better than a movie, and I actually want to watch them unlike other games where you would just hit "Skip". FFS you can get attacked by and hunt animals!

I urge you guys to try it out, and if you have played it please leave what you think of the game in a post below.

I played the 2nd one and thought it was it great. I hear nothing but amazing things about the 3rd one so I will probably pick it up.

FarCry 1 + 3 were both very good games, and by the sound of things, I think you may like Skyrim (only good on PC however)?!

Yeah, I loved FC1 when it first came out. Even then, it was an outstanding game.

i buy them. i use the .50 caliber rifle with a silencer and just unlock the outposts from a hilltop they never catch on, just make sure when you shoot someone that the others arent looking in that direction.

When I got home from work my son was at the very last scene of the game, I watched him finish it...pretty intense game and he LOVED it, says its the best game he has played this year.
