Considering throwing in the towel :/

hey guys
well as the title of this thread says, im thinking about throwing in the towel with IM
and I KNOW this is exactly what i shouldnt be doing. I mean, I understand that IM is not something that you can just immediately become succesful with from the beginning. I know that with any venture, you'll fail before you succeed in most if not all cases. And i've been trying for these past few months as best as I can. The only problem is that when January 1st comes along, i'll have to pay rent that i dont have :/

Of course, with the timeframe I'm left with, getting an actual slave wage job wont save me from my deadline. Ive got 7 days to come up with $300. So far, I've made $110 from ewhoring(sigh) and about $3 from imagetwist with my tumblr porn blog. Ewhoring to me is getting outdated, and all of the suckers have smartened up. Either that, or im whoring in the wrong chatrooms.

I've also tried my hand at PPD but the torrent sites arent allowing rar'ed files anymore either. Im really just feeling shit out of luck, but at the same time, I KNOW this is possible. I knows there are tons of ways to make money online, but for some reason I havent come across them. I feel like i'm giving up too fast, yet wasting my time with unsuccessful methods.

Long, sad, story short, I'm just looking for any advice, info, topics, etc. that can help me to keep from getting kicked out lol Maybe i just need a pep talk. But i do know i need something. Im down and out guys...help me:kabong:

Why would you throw in the towel? Just keep trying new tactics and see how they work. Try to think of IM as a hobby instead of a job and it is easier to justify the hours you need to put in to get something out of it.

I recommend creating an Authority Site in some niche that interests you and focus solely on that project. Try to monetize the site with AdSense, CPA offers, etc. Then just start testing out different methods of sending traffic such as SEO, Social Media Marketing, and media buys (if you are looking to spend a little money).

The formula is simple:

Well-Optimized Site + Quality Traffic = Revenue

The well optimized site is easy to make. Quality traffic will take work, but it will be worth it.

First I would say that you should not give up. Success will happen for you if you stick with it and play it smart. What your doing now, imo does not pay enough for your time invested. I would suggest that you move on to bigger and better. Start on building something, authority sites, mns, some service to sell etc.

Since you need money now. Try to do some quick sales like on cl, bp, ebay, or whatever.

When I started, I had a full time job while learning, web design, coding, IM, etc. I would have never had enough money otherwise. So do not give up. Worst case just get a shitty job. Hey atleast that should give you ambition to move your ass when you get home.

Yes, GIVE UP! Give up on the current way you are doing things, that is, and tweak in new ways. PPD using rar torrent files? C'mon, you know there are different ways to do PPD. Ewhoring will work as long as there are horny young internet newbies, but maybe you should use other places than chatrooms to find them. There's still time to grind out a slapdash WSO, if you download some shares from BHW on a current IM topic, re-write it and create a landing page on a blog, then set-up the 'bargain' sale of the item on WF. When all else fails, sell a $300 item you have in the house for $200 on eBay or Craigslist.

Don't give up. Just keep pushin it. You already came this far. Don't just throw it all away and become like those people out there who just cling on to there "real jobs" as if that's what they were put on this earth to be. To be a good slave and pay bills all their lives until the day they see their casket.

I was feeling exactly like you back in August. But I kept pushing. And have finally just recently started seeing success. Climbing up the SERPS one day at a time. Dominating big G and YT.

There's NOTHING wrong with working a slave job while you work part time on IM until you figure how to get full time income with IM.

I honestly will never get these threads: it sounds like you either do online marketing or you have to give up and of course this is not the only case whatsoever. Nobody on this board, not even those that make thousands a day were successful (and by that I mean to make a sustainable income) the first few days/weeks/months hell even years. You might get lucky and stumble across a working method in a relatively short time or not. If something doesn't work out right off the bat get a part time job and keep trying new techniques until you succeed, it's not the end of the world. And this sounds pretty much like the most reasonable thing to do to me: no drama, no dilemmas..

I am working at Walmart *sigh* and when I am off I work online. I take some money from the online and offline money and put it into new ventures. Some fail and I lose money, some I make back. It's all trial and error.

I think it's rude when people calling 9-5 or offline jobs, 'slave' work.
I mean come on, they work really hard and put there money where they deem fit.
People in IM just use it different, two different worlds.

Calling it slave work is just ignorant and rude, imo.
Considering most people here started with such.

Referring to careers or jobs as "slave work" reflects a very simplistic and narrow minded view of the world.

I have seen many people come and go from the marketing world. I will put this as flatly as possible - if you do not enjoy the work you are doing, this is not an area that you will succeed in. Whether you do or do not is an answer you will have to look inside yourself to find.
