for relevant edu forums that allows registration, you can search- 'site:.edu "vbulletin forum signup" "your keyword"'

Download some AA lists available on forums and filter the list for sites with.edu extension and fire up scrapebox for comment, remove the failed submissions and add the successful posts to master EDU list.

RINSE AND REPEAT.

you need to buy a software that can comment on different platforms...or ask for help if someone has a spare copy...use proxies...and automate your comment system..but remember do not give backlinks to money site directly

SB is a great way to get .EDU backlinks. You can also use manual searches pretty well too. Some of the most popular formats are:
Blog comments
Wiki posts
forum profiles

There are a bunch of other sneaky ways to inject links but searching for footprints for these formats (just add site:.edu to your Google search to filter only .EDU domains) will get you started and these are the easiest ones to get links to stick on.
