How does the fake follower tools/fiverr gigs work?

I'm quite curious to know that how fake followers are created and how does this all work(including the fiverr gigs which are like "I will add 35,000 real looking twitter followers to your account in less than 24 hours for $5 ?

Also are there any beginners guide or some learning resource available on Internet or any link threads for any amateur to learn and make a few bucks out of it?

They use a program like ubot or zennoposter to make all that big amount of followers.

Thanks yeah I've heard about it but Ubot seems to be quite expensive. And the drawback of fiverr gigs is that they give us a massive amount of followers say more than 10k-35k, while I'm looking for a service where I can manually control bots and add them steadily say 800-1k followers per month so that the Twitter account won't appear to have fake followers then we can manually reduce the bots also after sometime once we get some real followers. Any suggestions for that?
