Scribd, docstoc, slideshare and wepapers are good ones. There are a lot of different ones out there but be careful because some of them aren't that great in terms of SEO. Try for the ones that look less spammy.

The only docshare I normally use is scribd and I find it works for the purposes I need, but great list TheContentAuthority, I'll have to give some others a try

Use search option and you will find awesome list of doc sharing sites. perhaps its far better than opening new thrds!

Great list. I started repurposing my blog articles as Powerpoint Presentations on slideshare over the past few days and am seeing some traffic come in. Did not think that the PDF's with embedded link would be great too.

Also saw your link to Video upload sites, which is a very nice resource, even though it was earlier in 2012.
