Guys i know lots of you have ecommerce sites. Do you find correlation between facebook like count and conversions?

I have eCommerce site, small niche, 50 products total.
Currently most products have 1-10 likes.

I thinking about ordering (in fact i am ordering right now, i just want to see if it's good idea) 30-70 likes to each product to boost conversions. Seems it should have good effect.

Do you agree with me?

thx!

hi,

I personally have a facebook page for my shop but I don't give a shit about it, i don't think it has much importance, especially in converting. However, I do try to write fake product reviews because I've seen that those can attract a lot of clicks. Unfortunately I have about 1000 products on my shop and very little time, so its not central to my strategy.. but yeah, just my experience with this.

Agree with you, reviews are the BEST way to boost conversions, however it's very difficult to write REAL SOUNDING reviews, let say i want to each product to have 10-30 reviews x 50 products - it's crazy... It's pretty difficult(not really legal) to outsource this, unless you trust the writer 100%.
