Youtube Changed the game ???

@Frankie4Fingers:
I don't think spammers would lose their time requesting a manual review

You're right they wont and thus will give YT the logistics they need.

He is right, it's most likely a f... up on Gmans part, if this stays true I can destroy ANYONE on the YT with a minimum effort.

On the side note it could be just a test phase for them, to sort out and test what is fake, what is not. Look at this like testing their filter by fire. They'll run it for a week, gather all the complains about legit video reviews and people who's not so legit will keep their mouth shut :) and voilà you got yourself a system wide filter ready to roll.

Test & Learn. I think this has some legitimacy to it.

"This was not a bug or a security breach. This was an enforcement of our viewcount policy.

@skittles

Viewcount was, is and will be YT's money, they'll loose all the advertisers if word spreads out that half of the views on the market are fake. Coming from AdSense experience I can tell you this, there is only a handful of methods that do work and pretty much can be considered to be safe. Look at the majority of Vivo accounts, PSY.
Gman is far from stupid but as long as they profit from it and/or it's worth the hassle they will close their eyes on a lot of things and all of us know that they do have resources and means to put stop to a lot if things the moment they want to.

And back to my original thought; wait it out then adapt.

it was only a matter of time ... glad i seen that one coming and just let them rank naturally yea it took a hell of a lot longer but over the last 7 months its brought me a fully automated income

I am still in disbelief that their new filters would do this... people will start to delete each other's videos lol.
From what I have gathered only 1 method was affected by this new update.

Every other method is still running and "safe" for the time being.

Don't understand why they have their artificial view's check point at 300 views mark for... useless.

You're right for now and I still believe it's a testing stage for their new filter, but don't take my word for it. :)

Didn't UMG try to sue Google for dicking them over with views before. This should be interesting...

Wow, Im literally shocked they would do that to UMG, this just shows the magnitude of how big youtube fucked up!! LOL

I'm no view guru here, but would it not have been more logical to use that system that can detect botted views, to remove the fake views, as opposed to deleting the whole video.

That is what datpiff.com has begun doing recently and it is working great for them thus far.

Iron fist approach sometimes works better, it'll stop you from doing it instead of wondering how come views doesn't show.
