I just want to say thanks, Meathead. I tried this method when it was first posted, I think I even posted in the thread, maybe not. I tried this method for like 2-3 days. Setup a review site but shortly gave up on it. I saw this thread again and decided to check clickbank. I made a few sales spaced far apart, the most recent being November 13th. That's like a full year after I tried this out and only did it for a few days. Im gonna jump back into this and give it a TRUE effort. I mean making a sale a year after a few blog and forum posts?!

I just purchased a domain like xxxxxxReviews.c-o-m, using hostgator as hosting, how do I setup a homepage with a normal wordpress theme then have review themes for pages like xxxreviews.c-o-m/sportsbetting and xxxreviews.c-o-m/makingmoneyonline etc... is this possible? Sorry im such an idiot when it comes to this stuff. I just want to consolidate it to one review site.

Gad damn it!All of my shortened and cloaked links are being blocked as spam.Be aware of this if you're using instagram,tumblr,and twitter.

I did have this problem a lot in the last months , even tinyurl is kind of "dead"..lol. ..many website have "anti cloaked link script"

i strongly recomand that you use subdomain redirect or java redirect (need to add a script to your source code) ..something like

<a href="http://www.whitehatlolll.com" onclick="javascript:this.href='http://www.blackhatworld.com'">Visit whitehatloll!</a>
this link would display "www.whitehatloll.com" in the statu bar but redirect to blackhatworld

Bought a domain on Sunday and spent the day setting up the website and writing a review of a CB product.

Started promoting the site on Monday with this method and made my first sale within 24 hours.

NOTE: just be careful of posting too much on sites that uses Facebook for their comment processor. My Facebook account has been suspended for 30 days.

i did have some difficulty with google alerts these days but this problem can easily be solved by using other search tools
its a litle more time consuming but you might want to take a look at those websites:

To find blogs:

Technorati (my favorite)
Ask
Google blogs ( can display fresh new post so you can be the first to awnser most of the time)
LgSeek
Icerocket

For forums:

Omgili
Boardreader
Boardtracker


As i said its more time consuming beacause you need to search manualy but this realy can help you when you have less or no alerts or you want to do some extra work

Also : if you want to put all chances on your side try to keep a log of all the url where you posted comments
and at the end of each day Ping/rss/bookmark all of those links , if the website have not been crawled by bots recently this will help
those to get indexed or noticed
(do it only once per link)

Dont give up , intenet do change realy fast this year and it will be worst in the years to come with the arival of windows 8 toutch screens ect

If you want to be ready for the "new internet" as i like to call it , start to learn about mobile/tablets apps , cloud computing , jquerry and html5

For sure traditional website will still exist in 10 years but if you are here for the long run you bether get prepared for those changes

This had got the wheels turning upstairs. Its all about taking action... I did it twice, (new niche)... with the 40+ pages are all asking questions about niche and such, Well I seen a few replies with a good size list of ideas, Take them ideas and put yourself into it. Like one I seen was Backpain, Well take that and go with sports related backpain... (just an example)..

all my time here I have always came back to this thread and thought HOLY HELL.. 40 pages.. forget that.. But then I thought.. HOLY HELL 40 pages.. That must something worth talking about.. If you dont have the patients to sit, read, learn, read, re-learn, then you dont have the patients for this method.

Well after about a week of bits and pieces, I've finally finished reading the whole thread. Excellent info, and many thanks to the OP as well as the other contributors!!

Have a couple of quick questions though:

- Anyone using anything like Comment Kahuna for this instead of waiting for the G-Alert and then manually entering the comments?
- How important do you think the domain name is? Do you need to try and get close to an EMD+review.xxx, or is it insignificant? (don't recall seeing this brought up before)

I have my niche and actually have some nice products to promote, just waiting to get the domain (depending on feedback on my question).
