Hi,
Many BHWers know me from what i sell but i am also into SEO just like you all. For the past two months i was formulating a technique to rank websites in top pages. I was able to get on first position for the keyword The Best Spinner Review in a month with this method. As you can see (some might see the site proimblogger on 2nd or 3rd position) the page literally has 3-4 lines of content so i am asking you is content really king or the backlinks have always been the most important factor in eyes of google ?
Short story :
James (gavin on the blog) had a weight loss blog which was de-indexed and penalised by panda update - He had joined BMR too. Instead of giving up he deleted all the content and let the site sit still for 3 months. Then i started to talk about IM product reviews on his blog. I have 22 reviews (from which hardly few are on 2nd pages and very few have actual reviews) right now and i am planning on adding more. The site is ranking for multiple keywords in top 5 and i did seo on all these pages at once.
Tools :
1) GSA - Direct linking to the site, no blog comments and GB links but rest everything (low obl of 100, no pr limit, no submission limit and no proxies)
2) Senuke - Scheduled x8 social network campaigns for a month
3) MS - All the links to site from bookmarks, blogs and social network platforms
But the biggest break was something else. The use of BMD + CS (captcha sniper) which led to a discovery of ranking sites without any high quality content. James is handling the content and i am doing the link building. He isn't really good with tutorials so i thought let me teach my peeps something.
I will be doing a course of video tutorials on my blog ( i will add videos in this post only) and show you guys that many things have changed but it's not very difficult to rank sites (hell even a de-indexed can be ranked). I just need a permission from a mod (because one of the tools belongs to me and it would be blatant self-promotion). I will be making videos and probably do a case-study too on more competitive keywords.
Sit tight guys,
Vicky,
