My favorites are GSA SER, SenukeX, Xrumer and Scrapebox. It is more about HOW you use the tool because nothing is going to be completely automated. You need to narrow down your question a bit more - ie. what types of links are you looking to make?

I just got into backlinks and havent gotten far - I've paid on fiverr to get my auto amazon site submitted to over 3000 websites and so far it seem to work in generating traffic and amazon buys. But i would like to know how to do it myself/

Personally, I like Ultimate Demon. I've used SENukeX and it was good, Backlink Genie was ok, but I am really liking UD right now.
