I wouldn't mind 'helping' Rick Ross sell a few of his things on eBay... If he found out at least I can outrun him!
Honestly, the most risk-free way to do those types of items would be priority shipping and very professional customer relations. At least for the first 5-10 items, More than that to be on the safe side. Not only will you get your money faster (Not sure if your account is considered new, If it is there is either a 21 day hold on PayPal funds, Or 3 days after the confirmed delivery date, Whichever comes first) but you'll be getting positive feedback left and right.
Once you're a little more established you can take it easy, But the early sales done on the account should be as perfect for the buyer as it gets. This is crucial, because if you ever do find your account suspended for any reason, You can always send an Email to eBay and reference the abundance of happy customers prior to the problematic one. Stand by your name and products and you won't experience 90% of the horror stories you read about.
I know you said you're a normal ebay user, I really doubt you'll have any problems as long as what you're selling is genuine and the item is exactly as listed.
