Eager to learn - big noob - pls help guide me

Hey everyone,

I've tried to make myself a introduction thread before but it always disallowed me to make it for some reason... strange.. But other then that,
I am here to make lots of friends and learn as much as I can with the available resources offered at this community. I am currently a student at the University of Toronto and looking for a mentor who can help me learn more about SEO and website building.

Some quick advice: BHW members absolutely hate people that ask to be spoonfed information .
Your best bet is starting at the "Making Money" section and trying out the free methods there and learning the ropes. If you need additional help, use the other sections (seo, youtube, social networking, etc) to learn more.

Welcome to the site. I agree, you will get a better response by reading the informtion that has already been given, and asking specific questions with problems you are having. People will be willing to help lead you in the right direction, but few (maybe 0) will hold your hand through the process.

That should become a 50x blinking pop-up message every time a new member opens a new thread with "guide" or "I'm a girl and you must help", "mentor", etc. in the title of the thread.
