Damnit! what happend to vBulletin?

I just purchased and installed vB 4.2 and i am shocked that they did not improve anything in their shitty acp.
I mean last time i purchased a license of vB 2 around 2003 and at this time i was not amused about the unfancy backend with sidebar in its ugly frame. i really thought they improved it a bit. sure there some new features inside their bad spaghetti code, but really...?! The backend looks like straight from the 1999.

installed vB 5 for testing, but again for real? Am really annoyed that i did not went for xenforo and of course they are still strict with their strict no refund policy.

Plus i install scripts almost weekly from different nature, even the most small open source scripts are able to manage a smooth install procedure. Not so this overpriced vBulletin. I am experienced but still needed half an hour to install it. vB 5 has not been better...

Well, if you use vbulletin nulled, there will be some risks. First, 80% of nulled versions have hidden links, malwares etc.
Second, nulled versions of vbulletin usually does not work, vbulletin shuts you you down.
Third, nulled is a very un-professional way of online business. If you won't use simple scripts like sms sender, mass-mailer, proxy scraper/checker, DO NOT use nulled scripts.

for the hidden links and other you can use free hosting with .tk domain and test it anyways use MyBB,ever best forum software and everything is managed properly.check it once i am using Mybb for my board and had no problem

Yes, its true. There actually haven't been any great improvement in the backend of vBulletin in compared to others which has led to a decline in the number of forums which use vBulletin since people have been switching over to IPBoard or Xenforo.

I don't mean install and use the nulled version. Just installing it in a free host just to see its features, the admin panel, and generally test it, instead of buying it immediately.

DarkPixel you are totally right. It was my own fault. I am just complaining how the market leader can be so lazy in getting rid of an outdated design and absolute confusing backend. it is unbelievable...

Vbulletin is still my favorite but vb4 missed its mark. Its way to bulky and its a huge resource hogg. Tons of lag as well with larger communities.

In my opinion vb3.8 is/was the best forum software. It was pretty light weight very responsive and rock solid..

I just deleted the vb4 and decided to go with the bugs and the missing features of vb5 (instead of the massive bugs of vb4), just for the sake of my eyes...
Hell, how can a company be that successfull with products like this?

VB has been a huge joke for a long time. There isn't much better, but it's pretty bad.

agreed. I also purchased assuming it was developed well. But its now complicated than previous version. Most of the mods are not compatible with recent version.

Yes, you are right. I owned a license for it in the past. And in 2004 or 5 it was pretty nice and I thought to myself this could be a vB killer. Now it seems it has gotten one.
I will try to sell my vB license at extralicense and buy me one of this. vB annoys me to much and I want to use it just for my free time where I dont want to get annoyed as it is small enough.

Yep, IPB over VB these days. After VB went 3.x their framework went to shit, everything is one big clusterfuck of problems.
