Would it be better to get a .tv or a .com?

Ok. SO I'm working in this new project; it would be a website with video conten.
Also I would like to know how could I deal with copyright, as the sources of the videos came from diferent companies

This is really up to your own preference. A .tv may stand out, such as Justin.tv or you may want to go with the safe .com option. It is up to you really.

As far as copyright, check your would-be competitors and their on-site terms and conditions. You can get an idea of what to put in yours based on that, but I think if you have video from other sources the most important thing will be removing copyright content when the owner of that content requests or reports it. It's likely you'll get some cease and desists over the course of operating the site, but as long as you respond promptly and comply by removing the copyright content then you should be all good. Disclaimer: I'm not a lawyer, you should consult one before making any final decisions. This is just from my personal experience.

.tv is good for branding your site and note that since .tv's are expensive you'll get good names easily but it's not the case with .com. So better try to get same name for both .tv and .com and redirect one of them to the other.
