Hello,

I bought a few days ago 1 domain at Godaddy. Now I want to host it so I can put wordpress on it. So I bought a hosting plan.
When I press launch webhosting I have to enter my domain and password, but when I enter my domain I'm getting this error: Domain name is used. Please select a new domain name. Does anyone know how to solve this problem because Godaddy doesn't answer my tickets...

Thanks, so I have to contact customer support but they don't answer my tickets.

Yep, they are really slow answering tickets. And I would stay away from their hosting services. GoDaddy is just for domains :)

I want to use it just for domains but I was testing something. I bought a PR 4 domain and I wanted to transfer it to my Dutch hosting account but I have to wait 3 months before I can transfer it. And I wanted to test it now if the domain will keep it's PR :)

You don't need to trasnfer the domain just update the nameservers at GoDaddy. I think you should already have those nameservers (something like ns1.yourhost.com, ns2.yourhost.com), if not, ask your hosting provider.

If you bought a (valid) PR4 domain and it still have its backlinks, it should keep its PR.

Aiks.. Why would you use Godaddy for your web hosting? There's Hostgator and it's one of the best hosting out there.
