What is Black Hat SEO?

Black Hat SEO is a blackhat way to rank websites its easier to rank but it is involve in spams etc. you can find many blackhat SEO's here

Black Hat SEO is the way to get your website invaded with black and white Ailuropoda Melanoleucas...
 
According to Google (and remember they have zero authority - just an "opinion") any self promotion is black hat.
"Just get on and create the best website you can" is their line.
Fact is that will get you no-where.

End of the day like ANY OTHER BUSINESS - you promote in any way you can (to expect a business owner to do otherwise is an idiotic denial of human nature and simple business principles)

But don't build a website for Google alone.
Over a period of years not one of my websites gets more than 50% of its traffic from Google.
It's still the biggest single source (referral from other sites comes in second at about 22%, followed by twotter and facebook at about 13% etc etc) but if Google deindexed me tomorrow I'd still get about 60% of my traffic and 70% of my income (Google traffic is the worst converting I get overall)

Do you have amazing content on your site and promote your site on facebook? Can this be done with a site that has average grade content?
I find it strange you are gettting so much traffic from the facebook, because i never got a visitor from there. The only site besided search engines i am getting visitors is pinterest.
 
Doing SEO through a unethical way but getting results in shorter time!!
 
Black Hat SEO refers to people doing SEO wearing a Black Hat. It can be either a baseball cap, a beanie, a top hat, a beret, a tuque or even a Santa Hat as long as it is Black.

There are other kinds of SEO such as Blue Jeans SEO (only people wearing Blue Jeans), Striped Boxers SEO and my favorite White Socks SEO. But don't get me started on Naked SEO, that's just plain gross!

Anyways. For example, today I'm doing 2 kinds of SEO, I'm a Striped Boxers AND White Socks SEO, I think that's the most effective! :p
 
Blackhat is what Google does all day long...
Promoting ads on the beginning of the search queries. To force everyone into Adwords.

The biggest spam company on this planet= Google.

So true. What regular offline business doesn't promote their own business? Any business would be foolish not to take proactive steps to promote their own business. So Black Hat, White Hat, Grey Hat, Blue Hat...whatever...it's all SEO and you do what you gotta do to build you biz and compete. That "build it and they will come" and just a buncha fairy tale bull. For most businesses to really gain any edge in the marketplace you gotta hustle!

Facebook promotion is pretty simple. It only gets me 13% of my traffic, but posting on relevant groups works a treat. The traffic rarely comes from my own business or fan page 0- but rather from cross posting articles and videos on the really BIG niche pages when the opportunity arises.

It's really pretty simple :0

Black hat is all the things what are you doing to get the first positions in google and Matt Cutts hates, liknbuilding is one of them
