Where should i create my main email ? Im using gmail rite now, but im not happy with my email account name as i created it before i was serious about making money. So now i have a new more professional email account i want to register, my question is where should i register that email? Should i go with gmail? I have no problem with them, but i want a here from some of you where you guys have your main email registered at.

Nothing beats you@yourdomain when it's about looking professional. But still I'd just use Gmail with the said domain, because Gmail is just so great.

Thanks .

if you can't get a .com for your email then the best public email service in my opinion is still gmail.

you can access it with imap from all devices and email software.. and create filters and forward to other emails easily.

FYI.. google apps doesn't have a free version anymore. so it will cost to setup gmail on a custom domain with google apps.

but with using imap email on your custom domain it doesn't really matter about your webmail.

technically you could just create a forward to send all of your email to a [email protected] email.. and confirm your email to be able to send from your .com email inside of your gmail.

I have 4 domains setup on the free version of google apps when it first launched beta.. so they will never expire and i'll never have to pay a fee.. unforuntately i don't even use 3 of them anymore lol..

I just tried to setup google apps yesterday for a nonprofit and noticed that the free version doesn't exist anymore. there is a nonprofit version but you have to be incorporated and have tax exempt before they can set you up.. and although we're planning to incorporate at the beginning of January.. tax exempt status can take over a year to receive. so that sucks. I wish I could trade in the 3 I don't even use anymore. lol

Can i here some of your guys emails that you use as your main paypal email?
I just want a get some ideas for mine, i want to use my username but its not available so my next guess is to use numbers with my username but i want to make it look professional.

The best is to get a domain hosted email such as but as a second priority Gmail is just great!

Cheers

Yes i want a get [email protected] but not available and i dont want to add #s cause it dosnt look professional anyone have any suggestions? And if i do use a domain hosted email anyone have any suggestions like [email protected] ?

You guys are crazy if you are using gmail for anything related to SEO or blackhat marketing.

You do know that Google reads your email, right? Both automagically for ad generation (and who knows what other nefarious purposes) and it's been shown on numerous occasions that the engineers can / do read people's email manually.

Your own domain + cheap virtual hosting account is the way to go.

Set up a fake company domain with a nice professional landing page. Then set up two emails: [email protected] (or support@, email@, help@ etc.) that's listed on your company site. Then your own [email protected] or whatever for your own correspondence. You can forward all the mail from [email protected] to [email protected] so you only have to check one email account.

Like everyone lese has suggested , i guess by now you would have chosen yourdomain , there lots of them available for free.

EDIT:

NVM didnt watched date. Guy above me bumped thread from 1 year ago.
