i just have a few questions first of all sorry if im posting this in the wrong section.

1. i want to open a website and i know a great deal about programming and design
2.is it worth opening up a website no a days ??
3.if im choosing my domain what should i be looking for the most ?? unique domain ? or how it results in search engines and pr ranks and so on ?
4.i have a really good business idea ( i would like to discuss with a professional maybe a partner )
5.im looking also at making money through a product not advertising cause now a days the conversions and advertisement for websites is so competitive you can be wasting your money advertising your website.

Yes it is, most Web-Programming Business i know have a ugly ass Website and that's unattractive for costumers.

First, take a name you feel comfortable with. PR and Uniqueness are still a whoop to your face if you dont like them.

Please dont, srsy dont. Take your Idea, think about it. Think again about it. If you can't afford the 300$ - 1,5k$ for the project it's to big for you. Only Take money you know you can lose and take partners when you upscale not before you have anything.

Great, so it's not another CPA/CPC/CPM/NMS/WP/Joomla thread.

2. whenever you decide to start is the best time

3. look for a domain with searches, or something catchy that you can make a brand (and hopefully also has searches). this almost doesn't matter.

4. ideas without a blueprint are fantasies

5. I like how with number 5 you make a warrantless assumption that answers number 2.



OP, a business is an entity with a plan. If there are questions like these, it is back to the drawing board, because that is where you start a business, not by opening a thread.
