Wait so you are hiring a newspaper to develop your website and do SEO? Or am I missing something lol

i have a good website. But no time to manage my local seo activities. She would step in there.

for full service seo, it doesn't look that bad. Does premium placement on our major newspaper include a actual press release?
you might want them to send a example of links that they "generate". Also on the video, what kind of video do they make? Try to get a refer all from a existing customer.

The newspaper is prob subbing out to someone else,, I mean you have bhw at your disposal, tons of qualified people to help you. You did the smartest thing a customer could do, list your expected budget. I'm sure if you put a sincere post and do you due diligence, you could find someone on here.

It does not include a press release and the videos are pictures of my products while voice over talks about my store and what we offer (mini- commercial)

Its on par for what you would expect for retail seo. I include a good press release, real live video- actually go to the location and shoot video, if I can't do that I use a live person to talk about the company.
If it included a good press release I would say ur not getting ripped off, but without a good press release,, I would walk.

or is there a service on bhw that you could recommend that would do the same or better for less

any further thoughts?

Its looks fair as others have stated not the most expensive but not the cheapest all there is left to do is to find out the quality of the service.

thanks for the feedback

I think the first question I must ask in order to give you a good answer is this: Do you have any SEO knowledge?

If the answer is yes then I would urge you to check their site up, do a couple searches for relevant keywords in their niche, look at what they do for their own social media. Would you be happy with less than 5% of that?

Let me break down their offer with the average price you could get this and how much I think its actually worth:

n Landing Page with preferred placement on our "major newpaper". They need this to pump those $500 in coupons through Adwords
q Video and data capture - video is yours to use!
n Quarterly Video for customer engagement and use on other online forums Probably around $400 per shoot, you can get quality freelancers to do this for you.
q Optimized structurally for optimal visibility pertaining to relevant searchesFree when you buy a site off a decent developer/designer
q Unique URL - www.com (get yours for $3.99 at namecheap)
q Back links driving traffic to your website and social media forums I would like to now more about this, a decent linkbuilding campaign can be $400/mo.
n SEO Well that's the reason for the optimized structure and linkbuilding...
q 6 Key phrases to continually optimize the landing pageSee above
q Drives qualified and targeted prospects across Google, Yahoo & Bing So... SEO
n Mobilization of your siteSee mobile template on Wordpress.

I would say that since it is a yearly agreement, look at what you will be actually getting on a monthly basis against stuff that are a one time thing (like building the site.)

If you take into account that your budget will have to be $16,140.00/Year. you could divide it differently. My recommendation would be to shop around, you don't lose anything and might get somewhere.

Let me know if I can help out in any way.
