MY Dilemma will soon be YOURS. Help?

ive been putting this off for a long time because im concerned about the knock effects going forward, but im at a point where i HAVE to create a Google+ account, but here's my dilemma....

lets say i'm an online 'expert' in 6 diverse fields *snigger* but none of them are compatible with each other.

ive got separate gmail accounts relating to SEO, PROPERTY, CHIROPRACTOR, BEAUTY TIPS, DOG TRAINING and FOREX TRADING. if i create my G+ profile as a BEAUTY TIPS expert, people that know me as a renowned expert and highly successful FOREX TRADER, or as a revered DOG TRAINER will be like "wtf!!" so my question is:-

1. which gmail account do i choose to for my G+ profile?
2. what's the thought process behind going for a particular niche?
3. what are the pitfalls i need to look out for?

There must be somebody on BHW who has already gone down this route and got it right. Care to share your tips and guidance?


PS - obviously those arent the niches im actually in, so please dont focus on the specific niches as ive only used them to illustrate the diversity and incompatability of what im actually doing. if youve got any advice or comments, focus on the heli-copter view ive given you.

but thats just it, my intention IS to use it. i think it will be beneficial, but more importantly, i believe it will effectively become mandatory for SEO purposes (google authorship for one); so the sooner i get started the better. its just that ive got some software which requires a G+ account to activate it and thats whats forced my hand.

what ive already done since starting this thread (and seeing no response to it) was use the gmail a/c related to my SEO business as my G+ profile and i'll genuinely develop that whilst i decide what im going to do about the other niches.

Right now, Google + is essentially populated by spammers and SEO exclusively. It's such a good way to leave a massive footprint.

Your gmail accounts better be from all over the place and not made from your home/office or from proxies you use regularly that might get blacklisted (which is not good if associated with a gmail account).

You have software that requires G+? To whom did that seem like a good idea at all? Drop that software, for your sake and for the sake of open platforming.

My word of advice concerning any G Account: Disassociate it from yourself and your business 100%, except in a very light basis of very casual communication. I don't even do google keyword research on accounts from my IP. /paranoid but penalty-free

Not really as of yet, and in fact a lot of sites have been penalized after putting up G+

I've heard that Google is pouring $500 million into developing Google Plus, so (1) it's probably not going away too soon, and (2) activity on G+ will have a slightly higher weight. Then again, internet notable Robert Scoble dislikes it and prefers Facebook. He gives his reasons - on G+ - no less. G+ just doesn't seem to be listening too much to the community...to their detriment.

Google+ makes sense IF YOU'RE IN THE SEO INDUSTRY. Nobody else knows what it is or even cares. The only benefit from having Google+ is having your picture pop up next to your result in the SERPs.

The number of people that are going to go "hey, wtf you're a chiropractor and you have articles in your google+ on dog training? I'm not going to read anything you got to say buddy!" ... is probably going to be .0000001%.

If it really bothers you, make a few more google accounts, use pseudo names ... not that hard.

you can just make a diff. email account and G+ profile for each. its only 5 niches your dealing with not 5,000. Btw nobody said SEO is supposed to be easy. If this is your biggest dilemma than you are doing something wrong. To PHPBuilts comment as of right now it shouldnt be heavily weighted and is mostly used by SEO's and IM's but perhaps it may one day pick up steam. When that time comes we will learn how to game it.

Than go to your site and add <a href="plus.google.com/yourprofilenumber/about" rel="author"> google mother fucking plus page</a>

Than you can check this in a few days and voila your there!
