My VPS has had a lot of outages and their server is very oversold. Their support is very bad, I have opened several tickets and not one reply. Now lets get down to the real nitty gritty. About a month ago, my VPS (and many others) went down and it was a couple days later when they sent everyone an email saying they're moving to a different data center (I am assuming this is because they got kicked out of it). Then for the last month, my VPS was not working and they never replied to any of the tickets I sent. It was just today that I received an email saying that everything is now again and they gave me my new login information. Well, everything is not back to normal and I still can't access my server. By the looks of it (because they didn't give me a root login), they just moved everyones cPanel accounts over and deleted everything else in their VPS. So now we are all stuck with cPanel reseller accounts that don't work instead of the VPS we paid for. I wouldn't even give these guys a 1 out of 10, they are a real big joke and they have been nothing but a hassle!

TL;DR Stay away at all costs!

Pay peanuts and you'll get monkeys. BHW is a forum that specializes in SEO techniques. WHT is a forum that specializes in web hosting. Before signing up with any new web hosting service I'd advise you to search their name on WHT. I never heard of this web host you mentioned but dropped their name on WHT and there are tons of reports of bad service, no support, no refunds, etc dating back over a year. You should of done more research before purchasing from them. If they offered $1 hosting I wouldn't have signed up.

Webhosting is the core of any IM business. Without good web hosting nothing else you do matters. But like you I learned this the hard way about 8 years ago. I purchased many cheap services and wasted a bunch of time before investing in good web hosting. Now I'm a web host (private clients only) and knock on wood, my servers and VPS's are rarely down and very fast. You don't need to become a web host for solid service but stay away from businesses with a bad reputation.

Sorry to hear about your troubles and hopefully you learn to research better. Good luck.

Well IMHO, there is a difference between "cheap price" and "cheap service". I have to admit the reason I got this VPS was because it was a good price. However, I should have read the few reviews there were at the time and went with someone else. I have since gone with a different VPS provider and the price was about double the price as A7GZ. The service has been outstanding and I currently have about a 99.5% uptime. What I also like is unlike A7GZ (who just leased a dedicated server in a datacenter), my new VPS provider has their own datacenter so all the servers are owned and operated by them instead of a third party. Anyway, I hope that they are able to at least get my databases back so I can move on and I have also brought this up with A7GZ's new data center and 2CO.
