Testing Scrapebox 100K/day blasts with twist

This is awesome anyone care to offer up predictions as to where the sites finally end up?
My bets are as follows when the conclusion of the test is over:
site 1: position #3, however I'm curious as to what the other 3 sites are above this wikipedia page? Those are some strong mofos. I would like to reverse engineer their backlink profile. low hanging fruit
site 2: position #21
site 3: position #18

Some of these pages will have hundreds and thousands of comments. Im sure somebody else is pinging them already

Why would you leave your success to blind chance then do it yourself? Sounds foolish to me.

Interesting development- private site bounced back. I assume you are using various anchors, not the main KWP for all these sites. Pinging: check out megapinger (for windows)

I am using names = regular names with anchor.
In comment anchor = keyword.

If I'm not mistaken, he is using the main KW only.

Yeah, within comment.

I Subscribe! I really want to see if it hurt or help your site. Maybe help it in shorter term but hurt in longer terms.

I think other way around actually but we will see.

I feel like the private site is going to crash again in a few weeks and never return though this is very interesting. Keep posting!

I will..

Interesting topic...

One of my sites 10 years old had been blasted with scrapebox by a competitor they used words Viagra, Paypal Viagra etc..I see all these new keywords in my webmasters and 90% of them are from blog comments. We were ranked in top 10 for a strong competitive keyword. Now we not even in the top 500 pages.. So my experience is that blasting a site with spam keywords does do negative SEO..

I wish Google would regard blog comments as 0 in SEO..

I never said I am using negative keywords - just 1 keyword for all comments - one we want to get ranking.

according to my theory
this will happen
u will get all sites penalized
but
their penalisation period will be small
like 1 week max
but when they come ot of penalzisation
they will be on top of their keywords

1 week drop is not penalty - but dance. And they are dancing like crazy coming back and disappearing every few hours (besides Wiki ofc).

can i ask somthing ?:P
where did u got so huge AA list :P

BHW, forums, Imglory, few members donated their lists to perform this experiment. I got 1Mil links from donations alone - rest is my private tested and cleaned list.

I predict Wiki will stay same, 2 other pages will increase in rankings slightly.

Why do you want to ping sb links? Those links are already indexed. No reason to ping ;)

This:

They're indexed without his link, a spider will still have to recrawl the page before it counts.

Yup.

Some of these pages will have hundreds and thousands of comments. Im sure somebody else is pinging them already

Exactly.

100K links build today. I have been extremely busy yesterday with my new thread so didnt had time to ping any links. Results are as follow:

Site 1 - Wikipedia Page - position 4 (starting position = 4)
Site 2 - Government Site - not in top500 (starting position = 36)
Site 3 - Small Private Site -
not in top500 (starting position = 42)

The Wiki page is not even changin a bit. Now I am sure that they get a special treatment by G - would you also think that they are on some whitelist?

Yeah, i cannot recall the name at the moment but they are on the VIP list of some kind. Maybe someone will remind us below what was the name of it again as I am totally blank (7am here...)

ExtraWinner are you completle sure that your lists are working - you do not verify which links stick, right?
Good test - added to bookmarks.

I am getting 60% "posted" ratio on my list - numbers I am posting are numbers of "Posted" links, not size of my list I try to post to. I am checking them every so to see how many are actually posted and number is around 80%.
So when I say 100K links posted - I actaully try to post 120K (20% more) to cover the loss. Hope that explains it.

great test. Looks like the wikipage is just not moving!

200K links build today. Again - no pinging today as I was busy. I will try to ping all links by tomorrow:

Site 1 - Wikipedia Page - position 4 (starting position = 4)
Site 2 - Government Site - 107 (starting position = 36)
Site 3 - Small Private Site - 22 (starting position = 42)

Site 3 is doing pretty well - gov site is actually performing worse than expected...

interesting case study.. difficult to come to conclusions for now except that Wikipedia seems to play by a different set of rules when it comes to backlink SEO. Will keep watch, thanks for the updates op (good to see a case study that doesn't die out after 3-4 days)

EW- You know what would help with this study just a bit more-
Telling us a bit more about the BL profiles of the target sites in question. The results make it seem like the gov site has virtually no links and the private site has a strong BL profile and maybe some age too...

I don't think WP plays by different rules i just think their authority is almost perfect and the BL profile is proably rock solid. Check it out on majestic
