Hey everyone,

Just a heads up that Crazy Domains is having a sale at the minute where you can get unlimited .com and .net domains for $3 each without a coupon.

It's an Australian company which is probably why you haven't heard of it. I use them for all of my domain reg for my company because they are one of the few that offer .com.au domains (until recently, this wasn't an option with big name registrars like GoDaddy).

It's all above board and completely legit (from my experience). I've never had any trouble with them or even an indication that there could be something shady going on :)
 
does it include fees? because i wanted to buy 10+ domains and it seems like u can buy multiple domains at 3$/each
 
Deduction 3.26$ and domain is pending.

But i don't understand why they need to approve the domains
Why can't they offer instant domains

They don't respond to emails and do not pick up their phones.

My advice: Stay Away
 
They need to approve because regulation is stricter in Australia. For example, you can only register a .com.au domain if it is associated with an Australian ABN or ACN. I'm not 100% sure as to why they aren't instantly approving the .com domains but they will go though within 24 hours and you won't have any problems.

If you guys are still apprehensive, just don't use, it doesn't worry me. I just thought I'd post this here to potentially save some people money on some domain purchases because my experience with the company has been good.

Just, adding some more info.

There is a sale, I appreciate OP brought it here to all our notice. But, there is also a trick I had already mentioned, where you can get domains for $3 from them.

Brief: Just visit any of their country specific sites and you can get different offers on different TLDs. Just look at one of my posts on crazy domains and you might find it helpful.
 
I was considering moving a bunch of my domain names over but couldn't find anyone really vouching for this company and actually read a bunch of complaints saying the customer service is bad. Good deal though...
 
I got a domain from them few weeks ago and paid it for 4 years at $3 per year which is pretty good offer.
 
Bad news they raised the price to $5 AU = near enough $6 US
 
yesterday i decided to register the domain. .com for $5 (aud), paid via credit card.
status of the domain is still "pending", there`s no expiration date, the domain is inactive...
did anyone have a similar problem?
 
yes , i just buyed an .net 2h ago via paypal and its still pending
i called them & the girl from support said that it will be active tomorrow.. i said i will cancel


do you guys know another domain company where i can get an .com for less then 5$
 
I have a bad experience with them. It took them 5 days to register my .com site 3 months ago. 5 DAYS!!!

My keyword could've been snatched up by someone else. 5 days is too long, especially in the world of IM.

I don't recommend Crazy Domains at all.
