We all know by now that backlinks to your Youtube video play an important factor when trying to get your video on the front page of google.
The video that is currently shown on Google's first page when 'cash gifting' (I don't want to post its url - you can see it for yourself) is searched for is less than 3 weeks old and has only 270 views and 1 comment (so TI and other tools were not used).
How did he do it? The obvious answer is backlinks. Yahoo site explorer shows that this video has 453 backlinks.
All of his links are from blogs with PR 0 - no squidoo, no other high PR sites. What's even more interesting is that 99 % of sites that have links to his video are not indexed in Google at all. (if not more - I found only 1 or 2 sites indexed).
I know that Google shows only a small portion of the links while Yahoo shows all of them. But this is not what I am talking about here - here, Google did not index the sites in question.
If Google did not index the sites that have links to his videos then, by definition, Google does not see the backlinks to his video that these sites have. Yet, with no backlinks that Google sees, this video is on the first page of Google for a term that returns 1,680,000 optimized (in "quatations") results!
How the hell did he do it?
