If you are still unsure what kind of products to promote this year- or, more precisely, this part of the year- then i gotta tell you - although it has been told before- work from home is the niche to go.
When i say work for home, i do not mean that make money online websites, or affiliate ebooks, gurus promoting shits, and stuff. Your target is not other webmasters, - this is an extremely hard niche to get in by the way-. Your target should be the people who heard something about making money on the web, have a general idea, and are willing to start.
To these people, you do not wanna tell them: build a website and collect affiliate commissions, or adsense. They are scared by the idea of building a website, that is too much for them. They just want easy money.
Not long time ago, when you were trying to convince someone to make money on the web, or so, you were facing this question : " Is it possible to make money from the web"
Now this question is no longer the problem. There has been a lot of massive education about this subject in general and now people KNOW that is possible to make money on the web. They have seen on TV news, they have heard friends talking, they have seen real examples and so on. Your mission is no longer to convince people that IT IS possible to make money online, because most of them already know this. Now, what they ask is HOW to make money. The search on "make money online " is on an ascendent slope, continuosly increasing , check it out here
Now, when people come to find answers to this question, you do not have to tell them: build a website, collect commissions, adsense and stuff. That is to hard. If someone is already decided to start an online business and build a website, and so on, he is gonna do some research and not gonna buy your shitty ebook (unless you are un established GURU). Your target is people who have their first contact with make money online niche.
So, what do you promote to them? Exactly what they want, exactly what they dream off. Easy money with no skills required.
Programs like work from home, online surveys, data entry jobs, hell, even get paid to play games programs, these are a killer, especially in the first 3 months of every year. People need a new start, it is a new year, they want something easy, they want money, and that's what you have to give them.
One of the most profitable sites that I promote ,for instance, is an online survey site through paydotcom. It is called OnlineBestSurveys.com, it is Ruck's website by the way.
I do not send to it high quality traffic, but these were my stats for yesterday:
For around 1000 uniques, i got 5 sales, times 27$ per sale, this gives me a epcm of 135$ which is pretty good, considering that all the traffic i sent was free one, i would say even junk. I am pretty sure that the ones promoting through adwords, or paid traffic sources are getting much better conversions.
You do not have to promote this necessary website (although the guy is great, you get paid like the first week of the month, much faster than most of the affiliates companies out there) but i want to emphasize that this is quite a hot niche at the moment, and is going to be.
People say that online surveys are already expired, well, i have a different opinions: They still work, and the will work for quite a long time. Why? Cause there will always be NEW people looking to make money on the web, and if you know how and where to find them, they are gonna buy it.
Man, i wrote a hell of the post, and i said almost nothing in it. I should be trying to be more concise these days i guess.
