how to get a clickable link in youtube??

I got a few videos with many views but I cant seem to get people to click the url in the description. Is there a way to get a clickable link to an external website inside the video itself?

I've seen it with some major Partners, but I think you need a special privilige from YouTube to link to an external website other than youtube vids.

Have you tried overlaying a watermark that reads 'Link in description'? That seemed to increase my CTR a little.
