Next would be to learn how to recover website from negative SEO. Not a clever choice to share your domain on a public forum.
Would anyone actually bother to do that?

is this a sure method? anything black hat or illegal which could result in a strike from google?

btw, OP, I was going to say "use your brains"... but looking at all your posts, you'd definitely reply with "I don't have it..."

So no point to make, absolutely.:D

you can find tons of e-books which explain basic on-site SEO.write some good articles every day and the visitors will come

Uh because it's short and it's a dictionary word?

Tried looking for it in the dictionary. No luck.

Sorry. My eyes must be playing tricks on me. I could have sworn you were using the word "*Edit requested by OP*" earlier instead of "*Edit requested by OP*." My bad. Must be a glitch in the forum's software or something.

Ok ok guys
so I got domain and hosting
gonna install wordpress in a minute
next get a good graphic designer and a copywriter from fiverr or BH
and then traffic
how do i get traffic?

are you blind?

Why'd you delete that blue photobucket image with the huge white letters "*Edit requested by OP*" on it? Anyways, that and your OP (which I assume you can't edit anymore) caused the confusion. I'm not understanding why you can't just say "oh, I originally typed *Edit requested by OP*' but I meant '*Edit requested by OP*."

If you have no time to learn, go hire someone.

Setting up a site and growing it is what you do at the middle of "the book". Is not how the "book" starts. In other words you're skipping important steps. That will result i failure. there's a saying:

"Failing to plan is planning to fail"

First you need to get an idea of what is possible. That means you have to read/research a lot to build a mental database of profitable sites that exist and what characteristics they have, what they target, how they monetize, how they get visitors, etc.

I could outline the process but that would mean to help you be lazy. Go and read/research. Too lazy for that? Go and find a book about the subject to answer some of your first questions and give you a structure. You can even try to find a copy of ThirtyDayChallenge (blog) it is a decent start because it is structured.

Good questions are specific questions. In other words instead of:

"I have a hammer, how do I build a skyscraper?"

You could ask:

"How do I use a hammer to nail something in place?"
"Can I use a hammer to cut a tree? If not, what do you recommend for cutting a tree?"
"All skyscrapers seem to have windows, what do I need to build a window and how do I do it?"

More specific to IM:

"How do I setup wordpress"
"How to do keyword research"
"How to find a good niche idea"
"How to analyze competitors in my niche"
"How to create good content for my readers"
"How do I build backlinks to the site"

Just by googling that you'd get some basic ideas. They're not going to be what you need but they're a first step. There's a huge difference between theory and practice when it comes to making money. Every idiot in this world thinks he's an expert at giving advice - sports, politics, money, sex, etc (theory). Not many people excel at any of those topics though (practice). For example attending a management/marketing college would teach you shitloads of theory on those topics. All that theory is worth less than a chewing gum in practice. None of the college teachers make lots of money. If they did they wouldn't be teachers, they'd be business men.

If you want to learn how to build furniture for example, you don't go read books about furniture. You go and work as an apprentice so you actually DO build furniture. Get your hands dirty. Yes, reading a book about the topic might complement your understanding from practice, but won't teach you how it feels to hit your finger with a hammer, won't teach you how to assemble 2 pieces of wood and how to glue them togheter and most importantly won't give you the confidence you get from DOING STUFF. Reading 10 books on how to make love to a woman is worth less than a kiss in practice.

Stop whining about being hard and all that. If it were easy everybody would do it and get rich. Go and read/research/learn for 4 months. Start anywhere. 90% of what you real will be shit and possibly useless in practice. But you have to do it. If after 4 months of reading , learning and analyzing successful businesses you still have no idea, then you probably lied yourself all the time that you're doing it while in reality you were just trolling yourself.

Always remember this quote:

"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

So if something doesn't seem to work, don't keep doing it. Either tweak it or just do it entirely different. An engine might not start because of a minor detail like a dead spark plug or because of a significant problem like it actually being an anvil and not an engine and you were trying to start an anvil because you actually didn't knew how an engine actually looks like.

Whoah!! When I last saw this thread it had no replies :P
Coming to the subject, I searched your keyword, which seems to be some kinda slang without any search volume whatsoever (broad or exact or any related keywords too). Please don't mind, I think it's a horrible choice for a domain name. I hope you don't slap me for that :P

This whole thread is a sales pitch.

He bought the domain to flip it. He's hoping to attract a buyer from BHW.

*Edit requested by OP* is a dictionary word and it get's 58 searches a month.

Commercially it is worthless and you'd be lucky to get $100 for that on SEDO, which would be $50 after SEDO takes their cut. That's not bad for an investment of $8 but it's really nothing to waste a whole day on. You won't be making $3k from that domain any time soon. Domaining is a great side gig but unless you started buying domains 10 years ago it is almost impossible to make a full time income from flipping hand regged domains.

everything you just said
I have done
did I already mention I made $3,000 off ebay in one month but stopped it because profit was a joke
so I believe I could make a much bigger ROI with SEO / micronicheing etc

I do know how to set up wordpress. I know HTML.. I built several websites in the past
I know how to use Google keyword research and other tools like that
I don't have much knowledge on how to find a good niche and choose the right domain
I know how to create content and build links...but I prefer to hire people for that on fiverr BH or elsewhere
I know all of it but it's all just mixed up
you would be surprised how much I read on BHW
I don't know if I should PM you the URL of my eBay store because you could leak it and I have had enough trouble with ebay when I shared my other account here and it got banned

No idea what makes you think im a newbie! I spent days and nights setting up every single bit of my store on eBay while I could easily use frooition for $1k but did not trust others. I wanted it all my way or no way and I finally did it and the outcome was even better than I expected, and it's earning me money every single day but unfortunately not enough for a living (3k a month out of which 10-20% is net profit sometimes less)

Stop telling me to read because I read enough, how about you give me actual and relevant information on how to set up everything. I know microniche is a good way to earn money but I'm not sure it's the best way for me. I could make a website that makes $300 and flip it for $2000 but it's gonna consume me, and if I make too many sites, too many niches, too much money, I will get the google hammer

what is best to start with? microniche sites / CPA / anything else?
