I bought this the other day, its suppose to help me until my Paleo diet kicks back in and I have seen massive results. Basically it helps ADD/ADHD and just about every other system of non focus including sleep issues. I learnt about it in the book, The Mood Cure by Julia Ross (no affiliation). I stand by this stuff and have notice huge differences in my mood, focus, and ability to socialize.

Never tried it but it sounds interesting. I am going to see if I can get it locally and give it a try.

Thanks for the info!

No problem! let me know how it affects you, I have been feeling great everyday. I started with 500mg twice a day and bumped up to 1000mg and that seems to be perfect. No need for more.

Hey I am also going to give it a try sounds good from what you are saying. I know its all natural etc but is their any issues? I will get 500mg is that good enough or should I take two caps at a time? I want to feel alert and in a good mood. Right now I just take codeine every now and again lol which I know is bad.

Yeah just start with 500mg and see how it makes you feel, it really depends on how your body reacts to substances. If your really sensitive then youll probably only need 500mg but you should notice the effects in 10-20 mins. for some people it takes longer.

I have also added Magnesium chelate and Zinc chelate Mag is 500*2 before workouts and Zinc once a day. Gets you jacked and ensures you heal properly, this also includes the mind. its like a muscle ;) haha dont feel to bad about the codeine, the average Heroin addict not to long ago was a middle aged white woman because they sold it as a cough medicine :P

I also added L-Phenylalanine, to my supplements, this shit is prime. 1000mg of Tyrosine with my 500ml of water as soon as I wake up, 30 mins later 500mg of l-phenylalanine, then 30-hour later I eat Paleo. then 11AM I take my Zinc chelate and fish oils with high EPA ratio. No more supplements until my workout where I take 1000mg of Magnesium.

Tyrosine is pretty cool. All natural amino acids. I've had good effects from it in terms of regulating any moodiness or
depression I might have had. The good effects seem to taper off after a while though. I'm preparing to explore minerals
which I'm told are much more important than vitamins and harder to obtain in a modern diet (thanks to the Gov and
agricultural engineers). Amino Acids are molecules of vitamins. Maybe purchasing a Multi-Mineral/Amino Complex. :p

Saw this thread last friday and i've seen some good reviews online so i picked up a bottle of Tyrosine and a bottle of 5-HTP hopefully it works out.

I usually take 1000 mg right before I go to sleep when I am up working really late and then again when I wake. Helps a lot for the fatigue.

Haven't really noticed any difference as far as focus, concentration, productivity, etc.

"People take tyrosine for depression, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), the inability to stay awake (narcolepsy), and improving alertness following sleep deprivation. It is also used for stress, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), alcohol and cocaine withdrawal, heart disease and stroke, ED (erectile dysfunction), loss of interest in sex, schizophrenia, and as a suntan agent and appetite suppressant."

Holy shit this stuff is legit

"loss of interest in sex" (haha)

hey this thread is back ..

Just an update I'm still taking l-tyrosine everyday it helps me stay focused and alert

Found a reliable supplier. Gonna order some to test.

Uhm. Whats GNC? I am not from the US :)

GNC = General Nutrition Centers, a chain of nutritional supplement and vitamin stores.

Basically, you should be able to find tyrosine at any well stocked health food, pharmacy, or vitamin store. I get mine at a local supermarket.

I highly recommend L-Tyrosine. I buy it in powder form (plenty of sellers on ebay) it definitely gives me a mood lift. Energy I havent noticed so much but different people will get different benefits.

I had been taking zanex for the mental clarity / anti-anger thing, glad there is something natural out there. I stopped taking it when it stopped working, so maybe i'll try this shit. Is this that normal of a condition in the modern work force, because allot of people are "having issues", these days thanks. with gmo foods etc. etc. like for example a shitload of people I know have low testosterone, and depression, and these were otherwise healthy people, avid runners, bike riders; and now they seem to be running out of steam. weird.
