The links are ******** or nofollow?

they are no follow and not clickable if you are level 1 but if you get to level 2 they becoming clickable links but still no follow and yes it does help with traffic i answer about 10 questions a day takes me about 20mins i answer them well and i get around 50 clicks a day from yahoo mainly becuase some have indexed in google so i am getting ranked for that also.

YA is for traffic not link juice....HOWEVER Google still takes into consideration this fact even if it is nofollow! That's what i read and that's what the latest Google updates are about.

YA links are primarily considered as a traffic source. So being nofollow doesn't matter.

a backlink is a backlink bro. whatever it is it will help it's just a matter of how you do it.

Don't spend time on yahoo answers. find someone who does on fivver and order 1 a month. you will get good backlinks with traffic from lvl 2 yahoo accounts and it will diversify your backlinking profile as well

not to hijack the thread here, but has anyone ever tried to rank a yahoo answer? im currently doing some experiments but im wondering if people have done it before

on a side note OP, if you decide to use yahoo answer with a level 2 account (which can take some time to get, actually a couple hours of posting) give good, well thought-out useful answers try not to look too spammy, also dont post the same link too often (id say max 5 times a day) because people over there are flag-happy
