Need Solution for a Wordpress Membership Site

Looking for some ideas or solutions to get a WP-based membership site going.
What I want to achieve is a little different than traditional membership site.

How it works is:
1. I will give the user an 'access code'

2. User will go to my site - subscribe (register) along the 'access code' I give them.
So in total, there will be 3 fields; 1 for name, 1 for email, 1 for access code.

3. User subscription info go into a mailing service database (aweber/mailchimp etc.)

4. User gain access to part of the membership contents (based on the access code).
For example; 001 access code gives them ebook A, 002 access code gives them to ebook A B and C etc.

The reason why I said this is a little different than traditional ones is because;
A. The subscription will be free and i dont need to redirect users to any payment gateway.
B. I need to subscription info to go into a mailing service
C. I need something that will 'recognize' the access code, so that it knows which portion of the contents to unlock for the user.

I have looked into WP membership plugins but it doesnt seem to do what I am asking for. (or maybe I just didnt know them well enough).
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the suggestions. I heard about both amember and wishlist member plugin, but I am not sure if they are compatible with the 'access code' idea?
