Hey everyone,
I'm just getting back into IM after a while of being "out", I used to do a lot of SEO work for clients/sub-contracting. (And I mean A LOT of spam, 4x servers with xrumer, LFE, some SB, automatic controls to schedule all these tools together, etc. At my heyday I was making 750,000-1,000,000 links/day)
And then it all went boom, clients went bankrupt, people skipped out on bills, etc. So I grabbed a F/T job to make ends meet again. It's driving me nuts not having control of my own schedule and making 1/4 of what I used to.
I mainly do PHP/MySQL/C++/SEO work now a days on the side, but I want to move fully into IM. instead of just being a provider.
So here's my goal, $150/day by the end of Jan, with $75/day by Dec 31st. I believe these are very easy goals to reach, and my pacing will allow me to take my time and perfect my methods/tools instead of just rushing along as fast as I can. $150 a day is a bit more than I make at my job now, and deducting taxes will come out roughly even with my take-home pay now. i.e. pay my bills.
I plan on getting back into SEO for clients as well once I have tested my methods further as well.
So onto what I am starting with...
Software
Hardware (All servers are ATX...I'm cheap.)
Infrastructure
I have a lot of stuff for SEO/mass spam as you can tell, I never really got into IM a whole lot at all. Just sold a lot to IM'ers.
Let's get this started with.... wait for it....
Day 1
To start off, I made a quick video website for content locking, domain cost $9.99. Coded up a really lame content locker with PHP/MySQL/Jquery and running the traffic through a tracking script on another domain I have to kill the referrer (and well...track.)
Then I made a really quick FB page for a movie, Hired a guy on Freelancer to get me 5000 likes for $30. (So far, only around 50 are delivered, about 75% bots at least, probably not paying him as my ad said they must be legit users and I was assured they were) But I have already gotten two leads from it.
And now that I'm about to call it a night, I have ID running a mass follow on a new account. (VERY slowly...as in might be done by the time I get back from work tomorrow afternoon.)
Total Today (Day 1):
Expenses: $39.99
Income: $1.20
Net: -$38.79
Lessons Learned: Try fiverr next time.
Global Total: -$38.79
P.S. I will try to keep this updated daily, to keep myself motivated, and to give back to this great community. I have learned a lot, and earned a lot from members here in the past and I am quite thankful for the experience If I could remember my old account I would use it, but the email domain it was registered to isn't registered to me anymore for a password reset haha.

So onto what I am starting with...
Software
- XRumer
- Link Farm Evolution (LFE)
- Custom pinging script
- Custom control script for schedule XRumer blasts from a web interface.
- Custom linkslist performance tracking/grooming/real time linkslist generating (with roughly 13.5M links in MySQL, doubt many are still good anymore..)
- InstaDominate (Just grabbed it last night)
- ScrapeBox
Hardware (All servers are ATX...I'm cheap.)
- My PC - The usual slightly dated mid/high end PC.
- Vyatta router capable of handling the traffic of 4 XRumers
(Yeah....hardest part of that setup was not nuking my router...so I went a little overkill.)
- 1x Core 2 duo server w/ 8GB ram and RAID 1+0
- 2x P4 PC's with 4GB ram each with IDE (ew) (I used to use them
- )
- 6x P4 Servers with 4GB ram each/RAID 1+0 (I got them for a steal, I had 20 at one point, been selling them lol)
- Several UPS's to clean up the power supply to them
- I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff here as well...I've got a lot of oddball inventory.
Infrastructure
- Dedicated office/server room (small, but it works)
- 20mbps down/5up business class cable w/ 5 static IP's. (I can go back to 100mbps if needed)
- 20 private proxies
- 1 Russian VPN
- Adscend Media Account
- Freelancer account with good reviews
- DBC VIP account
- PayPal Premier Business account
