Need Help From Experienced Ezine Writer

So, I have been trying to get my feet wet with Ezine posting and can't seem to get anything accomplished.
I am a writer that has been doing work for clients for a good amount of time now and receive excellent reviews regarding quality.

I don't know what it is about my submissions, but they keep coming back rejected by Ezine.
I don't want to hear "don't use them!", "ezine is lame!", etc.
I want to know from someone that has submitted multiple articles what format is best, what should be included, etc., to get the articles accepted.

I think I can get a good thing going if I can post there enough but I need to get my foot in the door first.

They usually give you a reason why it's been rejected, have they told you? I've submitted plenty of articles there with no issues.

Occasionally they won't give a reason and you have to send them a message to find out, usually because it's more detailed then their standard rejection reasons.

I too have an Ezine account and have never had an issue. As the previous poster stated, they typically give you a reason as to why they rejected your work and you cna fix what is required.

They said that I couldn't promote a brand or product in the body of the article, which I understand.
The only link or anything I have is in the "resource box", and it's a link to a Blogger blog I set up.
I actually am just trying to pull traffic to the blog, which is a personal blog without the intention of selling anything at all.

Just be careful you don't have any brand names in your article. Without knowing the topic or seeing the article (don't send me the article) it's hard to say, but some people use brand names in conversation without thinking.

Also make sure you don't mention any celebrity names etc. I wrote an article for a client which the client didn't pay for, so I posted it on Ezines. It was about the music industry and mentioned Rihanna and Justin Bieber, but Ezines rejected it saying I couldn't name individuals.

Ezine accepts those articles that are informative, grammatically correct, and have apt titles. Please read EZA guidelines before you try submitting an article.

I have found Ezinearticles to be a great place for targeted traffic that is much cheaper than things like Adsense and cost a lot less.

Some people do the "review of brand" or they use "how brand works' and then they link to the blog in the resource box. So they are really promoting the brand but very indirectly. But the landing page can not be a sales page either/ opt-in box. Their rules are tight but I have steadily achieved between 15-40% CTR and have a constant if small amount of traffic coming through from them. They work better if you link to the article which increases article rank in Ezinearticles.
