First of all if your here for motivation of any sort then leave asap.... Sorry to be a party pooper but i dont want to influence any one negatively.

So lets cut to the chase, im 17 years old started IM when i was around 13. Learned the ropes and all and loved BHW alot. But now things are changing. Im in the last year of high school ( gr12 ) and stuggle to achieve a 80% for acceptance into university for criminal justice. Condering the fact that ive been a 50 ish % average student for the past 3 years of school, i have great stree on me. The short dark cold days are not helping and my IM career is definalty not helping either.

i have a website, my only current project. I need help. I need advise and help... all that i can get. i reseached a niche website based on the dreaming niche. The keywords are awesome low comp. high search. But i didnt do any seo. My plan was YT video marketing...I bought a template and edited into an amazing one. created all the sales text and setup the download page for the product. I even created the ebook my self. A complete unique ebook, bought ecovers for it, and even youtube promotional videos. I spent time and money. Problem is im stuck now. My school and low paypal balances are really effecting my negatively. Add midterm exams and assignemtns and it only gets worse. Ive done reasche and all ....but i cant seem to find a way to market this website. becuase of all the stress i was thinking of simply getting rid of this site, the video and ebook and cealry out my portifilo. I think its time for a break.

Im at a middle point right now and really need advice. Should i keep this project and let it collect dust.? Or should i take a break sell this site, and focus on school right now. Im at a crucial part in my life (17yr) and all decisin will effect me greatly.

So tell me what you guys think. Should i take a break and sell this site or should i continue working on it. Take into consideration that i dont really see how i can continue to work on it, its just to much. But if i do how should i start marketing it . Youtube videos are working and its time comsuming something i really don't have alot to spare right now.

anyways look at the site and help me out. Inbox or comment.

once again sorry for negative nature of this post. its 12 am, a cold night and im on the secound glass of energy drinks...

My advice would be to leave that site and focus on your school since you want to attend college. This was exactly my situation earlier and i decided to move on with im. It was not worth the hassles i had to go through. Just take a small break and focus on your school for now.

I would advise you to forget about the site and focus on school for now. If you screw it up now, you'll regret it when you're older.

You've got plenty of years ahead of you to make money so if it's stressing you out, take a break and focus on school.

No offence, but if you want to do well at school, you really need to learn how to spell.

Lol i know about the spelling, i can simply auto check but i wasn't in the mood . I know how to spell :)

This is what is referred to as a sunk cost. The money has already been put into the project and no future decision that you make can undo that. You need to weigh up what is the best option for you from now onwards, ignoring anything you have previously invested as that has no bearing on your future choice. I would suggest you focus on school for the time being.

I just dont get it....why do u have to choose...cant u do both at the same time?I see ppl opening such threads asking...oooo...school...or IM?Its pointless. As long as u manage ur time properly theres no reason why u cant do both. Its all about working smart and efficiently period!

yea..... but if i do i need to still clear out my portfolio you know. i really hate just leaving things there if i move on. even if i sell it for pennies i still want to get rid of it . Its just the way i am in these type of situations. How can i get rid of it?
i wrote the ebook my self its about 2000 ish words, setup the whole site with payment and download page. i even spent time and money on promotion.

i was really surprised considering im only 17 with a couple bucks i managed to create a site, design it, write a whole book and even market it. But all that motivation is gone now and i jsut want a break to get my life together and plan my future steps..

Dude, consider it as some break. Focus on your school, and once you go to a college, imagine that you could live in a campus. What you will be dealing with in there, are parties, pussies and also a lot of time for IM work! You will have to learn for college stuff in there too, but you will have more time! Don't quit IM, just do it whenever you have some free time. But focus on what's more important right now!

thanks i think i will take a break...maybe. But that require me to clear out my current portfolio because a unstarted project is no use..

so comes my second question...?

How can i get rid of this site ?

Ditch the site and focus on school. It's good to have options and with a degree you'll always have that option.

you can always come back to school, once ur out of bhw it's to come back in. Just follow, gates, jobs, zuckenberg, there doing good.

Don't get rid of it, let it there, let it age :) Consider it a long time side project. Order some drip feeded SEO services, and let it be. I had a site I never used, which I abandoned, and now 1 year later when I look at it what do you think? Bam, PR5 :) Yeah, but that's another story :P

well that will only increase cost. and concidering my paypal has around $50 , i dont really want to "hang" on it.

Where can i ditch it for cheap ? without spending money on listing fees ? DP is not option. Not in the mood for useless noob convos right now

yes i decided that... But where do is sell it?

you guys have helped out alot already just help me sell it .. or guide me ..

much appreaciated

First thing you need to do is clear your mind and forget about the money you lost.
Next step is to maybe take a small break and focus all your attention on school. Come back and start fresh.

no one is going to buy that site so you don't have to worry about trying to sell it.

i have acutally people who are interested in this site already. Amazing of you to make assumption right of the bat without knowing any statistics. judging a book by its cover is beyond stupid especially in IM

You tested the sales copy, competing sites, the presentation and such? If no one was advertising on Adwords THEN that means no money to be made. Since you really want to quit, then quit but I'm seeing a lot of room for improvement for your product. I just don't think you got the heart and dedication to turn your project into profit.
