jheyslow scammer!

Hey guys.

The user "jheyslow" pretty much scammed me on $15. Sure, not much but still a scam.

I had a thread, looking for signatures from jr.vip people. He WAS jr.vip when i paid for it, the next day it was gone. Probably hes subscription ended.

I been trying to reach him for over 2 weeks now, no respond. Not in PM and not in email either.

The signature is a banner, it's now only a link as hes no longer jr.vip and he haven't made ONE single post since i paid for it, so it was useless.

Just dispute in paypal. I don't think this really classifies as a scam the way you described it, (and definitely not shitlist material). Maybe an unfortunate business choice, but not a scam. Just my opinion. I hope you can get your money back though

It is a scam, the seller knew his subscription was going out and he still accepted the payment for a period that extends beyond his subscription.

His last activity was 11/5 and there's a very good chance the subscription expiring is purely coincidental. I'll send him a reminder anyway but don't hold your breath for stiff administrative action on this - it's $15 for crying out loud.

Just say this thread and no I don't know jheyslow but I will post your banner if you wish as I don't want to see a member get banned for inactivity and if he has never had previous problems that are known and its okay with the OP and 7878. I work from 9-4:30 EST tomorrow so just tell me what you want me to do and again whatever the OP and mods want worked out I am happy to help out and put the banner in my signature for nothing.

Stupid reply and stupid saying. Sometimes it's not about the money, the person in question has been dishonest in the business and deserves a such call out. Also $15 is something to be sad about, it can buy you a lunch.

While I agree with most of your posts, this is just wrong. A person who is ready to scam for $15 is ready to scam for any amount of money. This way you can warn others and prevent them from getting scammed. While $15 may not be much for you, in third world countries you could eat 2-3 days from it. We don't know OP's situation, so this thread is well deserved.

The banner code is still present in his sig, so it clearly wasnt intentionally removed. He hasnt been online in 21 days, so there's little that can be done here - I'm not going to boot someone that's been a member for 2 years with no history of problems over something that looks to be purely coincidental.

I'll send another reminder and follow up in a week to see if anything has changed.

NOTE: Keep the opinions and flame posts off the thread. Posts here either pertain to the issue at hand or they do not, in which case they have no place here.
