We owned a Spectrum ZX at home which I used to play some games (on tapes)..

But my own very first one was an Amiga 600, supercool! And then an Amiga 1200!

I still got all of these and sometimes plug them in Play Skidmarks

Lol of course I did!!

I felt really advanced when I eventually "upgraded" to the Coleco Adam Computer. I swear that thing had the loudest printer in the world!! When that daisy wheel started going it sounded like a machine gun out of a war movie. I couldn't imagine what life would be like if I had today's machines back in my public school days.

Mine was an Acer Acros - 75 megahertz processor, 800 meg hard drive, a whopping 8 megs of ram, and Windows 3.0 as my operating system, with a 14.4 modem.

I remember having some 386 that didn't work (green screens ftl)

I guess the 1st functional computer I had was a 100mhz P1 with 2mb ram or something like that, them were the days..

C64 here too back in early 80'th. I still have that machine and I think it works if I just plug it in. I didn't have money to get the floppy and had to satisfie with the tape reader. Wonder if the old games I had still works? I doubt it.. Long time ago and those tapes isn't lasting

Hehe, I used to make fun of Vic 20 owners.
All the cool guys had Commodore 64's.
I would take regular breaks to Feather my hair.

That's what we thought too. And the ones who got the C128 was just snobbish. But then... When people started to get the Amiga it was time even for us who had sticked to the C64 for an updating.

Aww heck, my first computer was a Kaypro 10.

4mhz processor (the powerful Z80A)

This thing rocked with 64k of ram.

That one had a 10mb hard drive, and I never imagined being able to fill it up!

And the video was a whopping 80x24 of monochrome magic.

It was a serious machine at the time. and a great deal at only $1,795

The one thing about the cp/m OS was that it used csv format, and it was really easy to program for, even with no background in programming.
