Hi all,
I've been reading in this forum for a while now and finally decided to take action. I would be happy to hear some opinions about Ebay drop shipping. Is it a good way to start my online marketing adventure? can you make decent money with it?

Thanks,

In short: No. But don't listen to me, i am biased. I like to be in control of things and you give most of that away if you use drop shipping.

It will get really crazy if you use a service from "out-of-town" , like HK. You will spend most of your time answering mails of the same content : "Where is my shit ??" or even better: " I dunno, but is this real ??"

So, make up some templates :)

Hello,
I guess you're right, any useful advice?

Thanks,

Search for dropshipper from UK, and sell products to UK customer. Much safer than Chinese dropshipper.

To give any kind of educated advice we would need to know more about what are you planning to do. What are your interest's ? Any hobbies ? Can you afford to buy stock ? Know any whole salers in your area ? Any experience on ebay yet ?

And about another million questions come to mind.

I could tell you to import aluminum foil. Sells on ebay for about 25 bucks ( the 18" 1000 yard roll )

There you go. It's for sure a low risk item, the buyer will come back if you sell it cheaper then others coz it's not gonna last forever, and it's not saturated. Great item for the cost of 8 bucks wholesale.

See what i mean ?

In another thread you are asking for a toy drop shipper. Good thing being that close to x-mas. But what kind of toy's ?

eBay drop shipping can be lucrative if you find the right supplier. But also remember not to invest everything
because you never know how things will turn out.

And if you fall for a douche bag supplier you are in a pile of the brown stuff so high that you will not find a shovel big enough to dig yourself out.

Not a reliable choice. The trust factor is the least in these sorts of businesses and that is the main disadvantage.

I have found this business to be pretty lucrative. But it can also be a pain on the customer service end.

I don't like ebay drop shipping most drop shippes I've come across take up to two weeks to send product thats WAY too long. Even the quick shippers is too slow a turnaround for what ebay buyers want. Also I find that the product I'm buying isn't the same prodcut shipped by the drop shipper and have too many complaints from ebayers even if its something small like the clip on this flashlight was silver not black like in the picture etc. I was going to try to be a drop shipper with my collectible currency because I'm in the US and could provide a quick turnaround but its toomuch red tape because of the nature of my product so I'm looking at just selling wholesale to ebayers instead. I tried the drop shipping route selling drop shipped products but it didn't work out well for me

Really, The goal is to get up to the point where you do not have to order per sale. Keep a stock so
you can offer exceptional shipping time. Shipping efficiency is a big part of the eBay game.
