Good Reputation Management Companies

Hey everyone, I have been doing some research on Reputation Management companies and I have found mixed results. I'm trying to find the best one and I don't want to hire a company that can't deliver the results I want. I have researched Reputation.com and ReputationChanger.com. Has anyone had any success with these companies? Or is there another company you can recommend? Or is there someone on here I can hire?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Sorry about that. Basically, there are a couple of sites that are showing up that we would prefer not to. Like a BBB page, ROR, and a few other smaller sites. Basically, for 4 search terms, we would like to "control" the 1st page of the SERPs

Well, good news is, there are a couple of approaches you can do to suppress of the negative sites. Since ROR is pretty easy to outrank, that's not usually a problem. The BBB site might take a little longer since they usually carry some weight. There are a couple of different methods that can be utilized. Reputation.com mainly submits your site to a ton of directories and they charge something like $3,000/month. I prefer to create PR's, articles and new websites on different platforms and then SEO the new sites to outrank the ROR & BBB sites. You can also try and negative/spam blast the ROR site, but i've never tried this approach, so i'm not exactly sure how well it works.

I'm not exactly sure how Reputationchanger.com works, but by looking them over, it looks likes they mainly work on sending out articles to the different directories.

I'd highly agree with this, and also write fake reviews in forums and review sites.
A bit of blog commenting never hurt anyone either. If you've any grounds, you could ask Big G to remove the results (in some situations you can do this)

The reputation management guides linked above are constantly updated too.

A lot of these companies just spam a bunch of web 2.0 profiles (sites like those found on Know'em) and charge thousands of dollars every month. Make sure you get the desired results you are paying them for, and make sure they provide you with long-term proactive solutions if you choose to go that route. Effective online reputation management is a lot more than just creating social profiles, etc. If you don't want to go with a company, you can figure out what you need to do (based on the responses here and the information in the guides I linked) and choose a service provider on ODesk or elsewhere to help you out.

The important part is figuring out an exact gameplan that you want to pursue, but also figuring out how much that gameplan will cost you in terms of time and money. The cost of unique content and other labor costs can really add up when it comes to ORM.
