Adcenter banning like crazy

Hey guys,

I was using adcenter about 3 months ago, I could run ads with coupons and VCC but now they seem to be very strict.

I have new IP, new linux installation, new billing, new CC or paypal. Nothing works.

This is what I got from my tests:

Test 1

Cleared cookies, flash cookies, installed new linux, changed IP, changed domain, changed server IP.

1) Setup account - add billing details and create campaign (new IP, new LINUX installation - since they might now some windows loopholes - it's MS, new domain, new billing)
2) Check within 1 hour - Can't login (aka BANNED)

Then I split steps to figure out what gets account banned and waited 1 hour between each step.

Test 2

Cleared cookies, flash cookies, installed new windows, changed IP, changed domain, changed server IP.

1) Setup account (new IP, new LINUX installation)
2) 1 hour later - Logged in (no ban)
3) Added billing details and coupon (new billing details)
4) 1 hour later - Logged in (no ban)
5) Created campaign (new domain, new server IP, new content, no external links on LP)
6) 1 hour later - Unable to login (BAN!!)

So I was thinking it's my LP which gets me banned. Then I repeated all steps but replaced my LP with just few words content (there are lots of other affiliates which are running ads with few words content, so if it's the issue, it should have worked) But no, account was banned again.

Then I contacted support and they said account was banned for billing (But not sure if it's good thing to believe them, they answered me with generic answer)

What the hell? That's impossible for them to track me. They must be using some kind of different system to ban users, or they are just banning all of the users and then waiting until they call to support and provide additional information.

So guys, I have a question, is anyone still using adcenter with coupons and is it working for any of you? I just haven't slept for nights thinking about the ways to hide, but simply can't get it working and I'm out of ideas. I just want to know if it's still working for you so it's good idea to continue testing or it's not working for anyone anymore. If you can just drop a hint on which step I'm failing I'll share lots of adcenter coupons with you.

Hi, i tried using coupon with a VPS on its own ip with original name address of a real person from us still account got banned... they are very strict with the coupons nowdays...so i created account with my original details and my own credit card now its working without any problem.. i think credit card having issues with the accounts. i used vcc to verify my first account but they cracked it down within few minutes....

It's not the computer/ip that you're using kiddies that is causing the ban hammer from Bing..... it's the VCCs..... They probably blacklisted a whole bunch of banks/VCC companies.

Okay I tried adding verified paypal account - still got banned

Are you using VCCs + Coupons?

Slow down. Try replacing "1 hour later" by "1 day later".

I have a lot of experience with Adwords, they are even stricter. You better create accounts and wait 2 weeks to get a free voucher from Google directly. (They will contact you if they notice no action after a while).

Anyway, going slow applys to anything (twitter accounts, instagram, etc.)

Same here. AdCenter has become the bane of my existence lately. I've probably created over a hundred accounts in the past few weeks trying to figure out the method to their madness. Mainly at first I was getting banned 25 minutes after creating campaigns, not even adding vouchers or VCCs. I learned through a series of experiments you have to have unique ad title, description, and display url. That's all that matters. You can have the same name, IP, cache/cookies, domain. After that I started adding vouchers and VCCs. I got my vouchers from fiverr and $15 3-pack VCCs from Safeway. Using my name and address I would get about 30 accounts up and running and they would work for about 12 hours then start dropping like flies. So I started changing it up. I would get legitimate names/addresses from whitepages dot com in my same zip code so my IP geolocation doesn't cause a problem, change my IP/router MAC (and log and verify I haven't already used it,) clear my cache/cookies (ctrl+shift+del in FF,) go the extra mile and add address info in the ad center account (as recommended by a support tech yesterday.) I've tried creating accounts with nothing at all, with only vouchers, with only VCCs, with campaigns + vouchers, with campaigns + VCC, with campaigns + vouchers + VCCs, and at various intervals in between. It seems there is definitely some sort of intelligence at play here because they all get banned sooner or later.

I would love to hear how other people are managing to slip under the radar.

Exactly the same, registered like 10-20 accounts, all different ips and boom can't login like after an hour or so. I dunno what i am doing wrong.

Thanks for this info, but can you please clarify something for me. Towards the top you are saying something along the lines of you figured out through testing...here si the quote

Now are you saying that you were able to get accounts to serve ads using the above scenario? Were you using real money/real credit card etc?

And..are you saying that this worked until you started trying to use a VCC?

Meaning, you can get ads to serve wtih real credit card/billing as long as the campaign had unique totle, descition, and display URL...BUT...if you EVER tried using a VCC the account would ultimately get banned?

I don't mean to add to any confusion but there's a couple different fronts to managing accounts with AdCenter. What I mentioned in your quotes was how I overcame editorial issues. Back then, I never ran into billing issues. So lets just say two weeks ago I was able to create an account, add a campaign for a ClickBank product using my own redirect domain (blahblah.mydomain.com,) head down to my grocery store and get a 3 pack of $15 Visa Gift Cards, register with my name and address (all legit,) add $75 of vouchers from fiverr to adcenter account, and add the VCC and blamo. Run smooth, thanks for the sales. Now, since the past couple weeks that has NOT been the case and I can't figure it out.

Lets take campaigns and vouchers off the table here and talk about just AdCenter Account + Billing because that's what is causing the hangups. If you can get an account to stay active longer than 60 minutes after adding a credit card, then campaigns and vouchers are easy.

I've come to understand there are two types (atleast two) of bans. 1. Editorial Bans. This will happen with in 30 minutes of creating a campaign and it's because either Title, Desc, or Display Url are duplicates or any other Ads violations such as Adult, Violence, etc.. This is the easy ban to get around. Billing on the other hand, i swear I can not figure it out. 2. Billing Bans. This will happen within 45-60 minutes of adding a credit card. This is my crux lately and this is preventing me from serving atm.

So to answer you question Will,

1. Yes I was able to get accounts serving with Postpay VCCs (visa and mc giftcards from store). It seems if you create another account with identical Ad Title OR Ad Desc OR Display Url, insta-ban!
2. It worked until last week. I believe they've started cracking down on VCCs. One of the reps I spoke with yesterday said they were ok, another said they aren't accepting those any more. So, I don't know anymore.

You say that a Editorial Ban is easy to get around..can you explain this a little more please?
My last few bans have been coming shortly after loading up a campaign(12-36 hours after loading payment. So this would fit the bill perhaps. I am not sure. I always thought you didnt get banned for "editorial issues", just that they would place your campaign in pending or declined and you would need to login and update/edit/delete, etc

happened the same to me today, i created yesterday 1 account with no billing info, i wait 24 hours and the acc was live.

today i added billing info with my american express and after 50 mins get banned my acc :S

Well for me I added the billing right away, then waited like 30 hours to add the campaign. Shortly after I logged in and noticed the account was banned.
I asume your Amex was legit right? Not prepaid, but a real AMEX of yours. Did you use a new computer/server/cloud machine? Did you upload a campaign? What can you think of that may have been tied to a previously banned account, if any?

i used an amex legit of my own and used the same computer
i did not uploaded a campaign.
i get banned few days ago, for the same thing :s
