I know about 40-60% of my list is invalid, and I want to get rid of the bad ones.. Does anyone know of a way to remove the bad ones without paying huge fee's?

How many numbers do you need to clean in total? You can get:
status: live/not live
Current network (e.g. number originally on o2 UK but has now ported to Vodafone UK)
Activity: Handset switched on in last 3 days
Country location
This will remove all your dead numbers.
