Question about Clickbank when we make no sales, ever

I made an account on Clickbank a while ago and attempted to market some products, never anything big. I don't think I ever made one sale. (I'm not sure if I connected my SSN to the account, or the tax form they required)

But I heard about how they deduct money from your account if you stop marketing/make no sales. Will they deduct from bank accounts/paypal if we do not make sales? Or only money within the Clickbank account?

Getting kinda worried now.

Don't worry, they will never touch your bank account :) After half a year they deduct $1 first, then $5 every two weeks I think, until you reach $0...

So basically what you're saying is: If I have $50 in my CB account which they didn't mail me, and I'm inactive, they slowly start deducting it until I'm at $0? They can't go below $0 so I owe them, right?

Yep, I have two inactive accounts with them, so I'm sure.

Oh I see! So they only took $1, then $5 after a bit. So they can't start deducting money out of my Paypal/Bank account? I don't think I ever hooked up my paypal/bank account/ssn/tax form, and it's been months since I've even been on the website.

Thanks for the help, I'm just slightly worried.
