Is the blog real? What i mean is I was looking for personal blogs of real people, rather than blogs on "christmas gifts" etc.
My reasoning is that personal blogs usually do have good age, are 100% whitehat and some usually have >2 PR. Above all that because those blogs rarely generate any income for the blogger I could get the link cheap

open several results on new windows and look to see which of them have comments enabled.
go through the article and then write a legitimate comment, contributing something to the article. most of these websites have comment moderation enabled and general comments are most likely to be rejected. so contribute something useful

I use webrank addon on mozilla which readily tells me PR of the pages I am posting comments to. I don't have to check the pr of each page seperately. this way I can usually skip the PR 0-1 links in this way.
