Made a purchase of this service on 9/27... a bit disappointed all in all.
The writing was decent though nothing exceptional (ended up having to edit the piece a bit) and can find comparable services on fiverr, which in itself is a bit of a letdown as this provider offers a cheaper option if you only want them to distribute your press release as opposed to writing and releasing.
My other problem with the service is that after receiving their draft and then revising it the way I wanted as a final with hyperlinks included, the service provided changed my hyperlinks all the point to the main site even though I had one of the links go to an inner page and on of the links going to a completely different site. This mistake by the provider has caused a delay in the article with correct linking being released. While the issue has been corrected for SBWire, I'm still waiting for this to be corrected in the release to emailwire.
The positive of this service is that it operates by an online ticket system which is pretty responsive. You also will appear in Google News and this will most likely help with SERPs (still too early for me to tell).
One other thing which isn't necessarily a negative but something for the service provider to consider... I used this service for a friend of mine. When the release was done by SBWire, my friend was the one that received the e-mail that the link was live, while I received no response. Personally, if this was a client, I would want to be the one being e-mailed that the link was live and then manage how/when to inform the client. This is especially important if there are mistakes in the press release made from the provider as I mentioned above with the improper linking.
Cliff Notes: For the price being charged I would expect a tighter offering from this service considering that there are other options.
