.Edu backlinks are they good for site...?

Someone is providing .edu blog commenting links around 900 links for my site. Are they good or safe should I buy them to rank higher please help.

Yes, they can be boosted to your money site. But quality > quantity. I'd rather have 20 high quality edu comments than 900 links if you want them point to your money site.

I agree with davie9x, .edu links are great and can give you a good boost in the serps but try to get quality ones not a lot of spammed ones directed to your money site.

900, probably lots of trash links. Rather buy a few high quality ones that aren't spammed to death.

Don't get EDU backlinks just for the sake of them being EDU. If their high quality and niche relevant, and not spammed to death then yes they would be beneficial to your site.

Quality over quantity, always. Anytime your getting offered 900 links, send them through a buffer page like a web 2.0 instead of straight to your site. (Just my opinion)

I wouldnt link directly too many if they are all no follow.

But very important the amount of OBL, I would recommend a max. of 50!!

if you get the backlinks from low obl and relevant niche then its good for ranking,if u get the backlinks from high obl with containing backlinks of cheap viagara and all then it might affect your ranking
