Any shipping tips from dubai?

i want to buy 5kg and ship it to germany but i am worried because it can go to custom office
and then i have to pay soo much!

anyone have tips how to ship it safe without problems?

is there a custom office in uk too? maybe i can use a middle man
shipping from uk to germany is free without taxes

It can not go to customs, it will go there. It doesn't really matter to which Country in the EU you ship to, the Country where it will arrive first will tax it.

I often ship to UAE and dont put an invoice into the package, marked as gift. Nobody there has ever been paying custom fees.

It doesn't matter what you declare or how much. It;s organic so it will show nicely on the x-ray.
5 kg of the stuff will have a good smell to it as well so chances are that customs will inspect it. It is declared as anything else you are asking for trouble - the consignee will have a bit of explaining to do. The value you declare is irrelevant since certain goods ( alcohol, tobacco etc ) will be taxed by amount of goods not declared value

Pack it smell proof and smuggle it in. Put it in a lead box or something so that it doesn't show on xray,

Lead box is a good idea i think. Size should be about the same as a coffin

Gosh, it's seems like a good idea to ship something that you can buy cheap over to Europe. But these people over there are pricks when it comes to import.

Might as well try to smuggle in a few thousands gallons of fuel. Cheap as well in Dubai and really frigging expensive in Europe....and for sure a faaaaaaaaast selling item

If you ship it to Germany i can tell you exactly what will happen:

If you use the regular postal service it will end up at the nearest customs office at the consignee's address. He will receive a card from the postal service to go there and pick it up. When he shows up there the customs dude will open it and start doing his thing.

Probably very similar to what will happen in the UK or in any other Country in EU.

Using a courier service like DHL will make no difference, it will still end up at customs.

Well tobacco isnt drugs, not even hash, so maybe wrap it in 2 layers of aluminium foil? takes strong xray to get through, and if the officer looking at your baggage is busy, he would let it pass through most probably. well, i dont know customs work in DE, but I have brought in raw indian spices into the UK many times and I have never been questioned

If you try hide it and customs can't see what it is they will open it up and either dispose of it or tax you straight away which you don't want.

Couldn't you just send one package at a time? Split them between addresses so you don't get caught.

I doubt it will cost you a bomb because i brought in some Al Fakher Strawberry tobacco bought straight from the Dubai mall and i made some very easy money on it so that would cover postage anyways.
